I love your videos however, i have to disagree. There are many active volcanoes in the velothi mountains, and the area know as stonefalls and bal falas harbour such volcanos as Ash mountain and the tormented spire. Eso is definitely canon as events mentioned and featured in the storyline have cropped up in other elder scrolls games. The entire province of morrowind is most likely a string of active volcanoes. Of course i understand that not everyone considers ESO canon however i have to think that it is with the overwhelming evidence. As i said, love your videos! Please dont think i am trying to call you out

Also i know that they arent active in the 4th Era, however i do not think that the red year would have stopped these volcanoes, as geological evidence has shown that volcanic eruptions lead to a chain of eruptions in nearby calderas. Especially with the meteor above Vivec crashing, it caused an earthquake.

I think it makes sense that all the Magma bubbling within volcanoes and under the crust of Tamriel is transfused with the very essence of Lorkan's divine power and this explains as to why the Ash spawn exist and what powers them...

Depends on how long after Skyrim it will take place. If it's a hundred years there no reason they shouldn't have recovered by that time. People need to remember the Great Houses are already rebuilding both on the mainland and on Vvardenfell. But if VI is only about five years later then nothing should be different at all.

Even if they rebuild, it'll be just like Solsteim. As long as the mountain keeps spewing ash they'll never truly recover.

Hello Imperial Knowledge! And I Can Point out One Other Potential Active Volcano in Tamriel. The Entire Hold of Eastmarch. If look at it from above you can quite clearly see that it is very reminiscent of a Super Volcano Caldera. The Hot Springs are one the first signs of active Volcanism, think of Yellow stone Park here the U.S.. Skyrim May have an active Super Volcano.
@ImperialKnowledge
@ImperialKnowledge 4 жыл бұрын
I did think about that, but we dont have any recorded volcanic activity there, so it is not an active volcano even if it is one.

@@ImperialKnowledge The aeterium forge is actually located in the same general area (i think you can say so since it is so far underground) so maybe the dwemer knew of this 'vulcano' and thought it was another source of great power, in the form of aetherium.

The Elsweyr deserts were semi-hospitable with more savannahs and plains then desert. Annequina is mostly made of bad lands (dusty canyons with sparce plants and trees) whereas the Alik'r is desrcibed as an unhospitable expanse of sun scorched desert.

@based Burgundian Skyrim is the only province who’ve actually helped the refugees of Morrowind after the Eruption of Red Mountain and the Argonian Occupation of Southern Morrowind. The Empire abandoned Morrowind and Dunmer are traditionally enemies of the Altmer. With magical expertise, the Stormcloaks would gain a much needed advantage... if they can get over themselves. Nords and Dunmer both use cheap Argonian labor, and don’t let Argonians live inside their cities. At the very least, Allies of Convenience.

I could have sworn that Lorkhan led armies during the Ehlnofey wars and therefore must have been alive during them, and his heart was only removed when he was defeated. Now I have to delve through the games/Imperial Library to find what books I read that in. If I find anything I'll reply to this comment with a source. All in all, amazing amazing video as always. I personally find topics concerning geology very very interesting and the volcanoes of Tamriel were something I always enjoyed researching about.

@@VelociraptorsOfSkyrim i have to disagree. Most dark elves fled all of morrowind, which must have been caused by MULTIPLE eruptions. Plus, dragon breaks have been known to cause natural disasters such as an eruption so i believe, personally, that one if not all of the volcanoes in morrowind would have erupted as a consequence
