Watch The Reef. The original one based on the group of yatchers who were stalked by a shark. That one is so real in ots imagery. They filmed real sharks and edited to make the sharks actions fit the script. It was terrifying

I liked the shallows. They got Meg 2 in the works but I was not the biggest fan of the first one. Its OK, watchable. I've not even heard of this movie lol.. The original Reef was good.

Never heard of "Jaws"? nothing tops it, the Shallows is great too, all other movies (including Jaws 2 to 4) are a waste of time to watch. I have not watched the Reef Stalked yet. Hopefully soon, from the trailer it looks decent.

Deep Blue Sea was garbage, I don't get the love for it. The Shallows is excellent, I'll give you that. 47 Meters Down Uncaged is okay at best. Jaws, Jaws 2 and The Shallows are all the world of cinema need. They literally cover everything you can do the shark genre, without turning into a boring sloth or an over the top schlock fest.

so it's a sequel or spinoff from THE REEF? I thought that movie was pretty good. Gave a more realistic point of view. And just like in that movie seems like in this one they used real sharks or footage of real sharks. I like that! Better than CGI or a puppet. I also like how it's done in broad daylight. So you can see what's happening. Not like a lot of these horror movies where it has to be set at night. This trailer doesn't look that good tho. But I'll watch it cuz I love shark movies that terrorize people!

Not true, moron. We never rooted for the shark in Jaws, Jaws 2 and The Shallows because we actually like the main characters, and felt bad for the victims who weren't assholes. Now...literally every shark movie has blatantly annoying, jerk off characters. They don't just deserve to die, we just don't care anymore.

Its "the Bait" with kayaking instead of jet skis, no originality and I love a good shark film, but this is lame, I recommend the shallows with Blake Lively or slightly more old school like dark tides features Halle Berry or "Shark Night" with Sara Paxton, even Sharktale the animation is probably way more enjoyable 😄
