To everyone that's confused, in 2011 a KZfaqr by the name of Stun_gravy was playing Battlefield 3. He made the very first "supereject" trick shot, which was a trick where you flew in a jet, ejected out of the jet, equipped a rocket launcher, killed another player with said launcher, then land back safely in the jet - all while in mid-air. The trick shot was renamed to the "RendeZook" (the name was inspired by an old video from the OG Battlefield times). The trick shot skyrocketed in popularity in the Battlefield community during the late Battlefield 3 & early Battlefield 4 days. The next few Battlefield games in the franchise, however, didn't include fighter jets, so the trick shot wasn't "doable" like before, and it was somewhat forgotten. Nearly 7 years later, the trailer released for Battlefield 2042. This was a return to the "modern military combat" scene for the Battlefield franchise, and as such included fighter jets again. To showcase this, the trailer included an homage to the RendeZook trick shot originally performed by Stun_gravy. This is what you're watching above. And as such Stun_gravy was forever immortalized in Battlefield history. The guy in the video, however, is NOT Stun_gravy. This is a streamer who simply couldn't contain his excitement due to the epic callback to those old Battlefield times. EDIT: This comment was seen by more people than I expected so here's a bit more explanation: The OG Battlefield video I am referring to is "Battlefield 1942 LoopZook" by ZookaMan. The name "RendeZook" according to Stun was a mix between the word "rendezvous" and "zooking" - an old Battlefield term for killing someone with a launcher. His thought process was you "supereject" out of the jet, "zook" someone, then rendezvous with your jet, hence "RendeZook". The original video is still on Stun_gravy's channel and it's called "Battlefield 3 - RendeZook".
