I agree 100% with caddy. This game is fantastic and one of my favourite crash games from level design and casual difficulty alone, but there was no need to make completion so ridiculous. Removing the death restrictive gem and perfect relics ALONE would've made it about 50 times more fun and less repetitive. In fact, if not for the completion rehashing it WOULD be my favourite crash game, but for now it's at number 2 or 3

In fact, my least favourite part of this game is how they treated aku aku. Since he doesn't go between levels, the only ways to get him are to die a lot so the game takes pity on you, or find a box. And since for full completion you can't die, you can only get invincibility when the level already has 3 aku aku boxes, of which there are like 5 levels that do, and even then that's assuming you don't get hit in between, so it might as well not exist, which is a huge shame she is so fun to get it.

If it wasn't for the perfect run relics, platinum requirements (keeping it at gold like the other games other than Nitro Fueled since that one only adds a plat paint for that completion), the BS box placement, and also the tornado speed "rhythm" mash replacing the speed shoes, then it would feel at home... also the 40/60% wumpa gems are redundant and inflates the gem count for no good reasons since getting all boxes basically nets you said 80+%, including the wumpa N.Verted gems. While the N.Verted stages are artistically creative, it's making some crates TOUGHER to find when the visuals are eye-gouging. I can understand why Wal would think that way at 44:00 but knowing how LUDICROUS the completion requirement 1 is... is NOTHING compared to the 2nd completion requirement which made the Crash world..... SCREAM!!!!! Other than the completionist criteria, getting throughout the main game was the greatest joy I had with it, and I said screw it when it comes to BOTH completion endings

The way I see this game is simple really, just play the story normally, and if you feel like you want to hurt yourself, then try and go further beyond. If you want to try it, and you don't have it yet, then wait for it to get a discount, because the game, at it's core, is a good game, and I should know, since I somehow have more than one copies of it.

So I know you don't ever plan to react to Caddy's gameplay streams (not sure why people expect you to, reacting to a stream sounds absolutely tedious and fatiguing), but would you ever consider reacting to his Best Of compilations from his streams? He has two, one for 2020 and one for 2021 and they just have some absolutely hilarious highlights from his streams. They're both only around an hour-ish long, so not much different than his normal videos.

Crash 4 is only that horrible if you go for everything. Not going for everything its a great game in my option.

Well, Caddy is a treasure, but I feel like you need some new avenues. I would suggest Max0r (literally any video would do, maybe the Metal Gear Rising videos or the Genshin Impact one) and Bumbles McFumbles (either the TF2 War Crimes video, the Worst Videogame Ads or the Punch Out Cheaters duology to start off), both of them are very different but both are amazing in their own ways.
