Did you ever read the Chris Hitchins article about waterboarding? He had it done to him and wrote, 'it doesn't simulate drowning...it is drowning!!!'

Official Secrets, Dark Waters and The Report. All three are great movies...

This was a good film- it gives you the knowledge you need to know, especially if you don’t know a great deal about it- without making the viewer lost in a bunch of information and jargon. It reminded quite a lot of Spotlight.

The guy says you have a sunlight problem. At this point in the story the SUNLIGHT is on Dan/Adam and not the report so the next scene is him shifting the SUNLIGHT or attention elsewhere. I have NO IDEA what Mark was talking about.

Marriage Story, The Rise of Skywalker, and The Report. Adam Driver was trying to get the Oscar. I think the work load may have cost him the Oscar but he's just getting started.

I just watched this film. Excellent. Adam Driver is easily one of my favourite actors.

in just 2019 the guy starred in Marriage Story, Star Wars, The Dead Dont Die and The Report, meanwhile Leo Dicaprio does one movie a year and spend the rest of his time in cannes

I liked how one-sided it was, and how Annette Benning popped up every 10 minutes to remind us what to think.

One-sided? Are you actually an advocate for torture? The main character worked for Feinstein (I'm no fan) and it would be a little hard to do a movie and not address that especially since many plot points pivot on her interaction with the Senate. Her conviction seemed weak when compared to Jones and I wouldn't look to Democrats today as any bulwark against the CIA. I think the Obama White House is a bigger icon within the Democratic universe and they don't come off too well here. I would bet you the CIA tortured long before 9/11 and they continue to torture today; the movie may be a bit Pollyanna about the outcome. The psychologists they blame the "EIT" on were fall guys.

I just don't like Adam Driver. I have no idea why. I think perhaps he needs to get older for his face to get a bit of character? It's all me, I get it. But I just don't like him. In anything.
