@@juniormoreira7584 In essence, preferred equity is like buying a piece of the pie and getting paid a slice of the profits earlier, whereas mezzanine debt is more like giving a loan with higher risk and higher potential return, secured by a stake in the pie itself, not the pie. Both are ways to finance real estate projects but come with different risks, rewards, and positions in the case of financial issues.
