He was moving out of town, so instead of letting him toss it in the dump, I said I would take it and see if I could fix it. This pit has been well used and in need of some TLC and a new home. Anyway, I just can't see letting a grill go to the trash unless it's more expensive to fix than it's worth. Even then, it could become a charcoal grill 😃 Part 2 is coming out tomorrow. You did a great job on that pellet grill Kevin. Those pellets and dust were really stuck in there. I still have my Lexington and it works great but I been thinking of getting a bigger pellet grill. That was a great video of how to work on a pellet grill and fix it. Seeing the video showed me that if something like that was to happen on my pellet grill that I could open it up and fix it too. Well I was hoping for I don’t know? Smoked green chilies on that thing buddy 😂😅. Great insight brother. Another reason I put my pellets in a tote then scoop them in. To help prevent this kinda thing. Great job and congrats on the new smoker.

I had a neighbor get pellets wet and stuck in the auger on his tregger. Took him a whole day to take it apart and get it cleaned out. I need to mod mine somehow so its not such a pain in the butt to clean out the fire pot each time.

Thanks, JD! You must live in a humid area. It's pretty dry here, so I'm not sure how his pellets got so wet to jam the auger? But he bought a new Pit Boss and was going to toss this one, so of course I had to rescue it! Have an awesome day, brother!👍✌️

easier way is stuff the auger in a half inch hammer drill and send it back in lol
