I've tried this myself with house plants, mainly orchids. My only observation was that they seem to need a lot less watering. The ones in the veg patch are a waste of time.

Actually, when I heard the term”ELETRO CULTURE” I thought growing plants in a magnetic field derived from placing rare earth magnets surrounding the plant. I cannibalized strips of magnets from water-sand proof phone pouches that are hung around your neck ( had a few from various vacations to Caribbean islands) and epoxied at 120 degree points on a few planting containers , 1 with, 1 without and 1 with the magnets exerting an opposing field to one another. The results could interpreted as a VERY Beneficial outcome, the one with the the negative field. BUT as you stated on your conclusion, sometimes a plant is just going to out perform a like , equally maintained grow, most likely a slight genetic syndrome ?
