let’s be honest, Germany doesn’t send strong sons and thats why they keep Flopping, there are times where they send good songs but they often have really bad ones. If what you say was true, how do you explain they win with Satelite? 10th place with Taken by a stranger? 4th place with You let me walk alone? 8th place with Standing still? 2 wins 4 runner-ups and 5 times placing 3rd? if you look at they are one of the most sucesful countries at eurovision but they have to change their national selections since they started to do bad in eurovision in mid 2010’s. also if people were still salty for the man with mustache in 1939 Germany wouldn’t place 2nd in 1956 which was literally 11 years after the end of WW2

@@hankamostowiak4745 to be honest. since germany sends english entrys to the contest the quality of the german entrys got trashy. but compared to the other songs on the festival there pretty okay. i allthough remember fair votings in the 80th for theater, jhonny blue or nicoles ein bischen frieden wich succeeded in harrowgate. i dont think it´s the fall of the national election. it´s the incompetence of the NDR to chose first class compositors(like ralph siegel) and artists to join the national competition.
