Hey guys, I absolutely love that you often come back to games that came out in a poor state but deserve to be improved. Very few channels do that. So great. Baldo looked so good, seemed so cool. It was such a shame it was not as good as it could be. It's so nice to see that the team continued to work on it to the point it actually became a great game. I really want to play it now.

I grabbed this early on, but was waiting on the All Patched Up series to give me the green light to begin. Unfortunately my backlog is too ridiculous and I haven’t even scratched the surface. refreshing to hear how committed these devs are to their game after all this time. i've been excited about this game since it was revealed but heard all the lackluster opinions of it and cautiously avoided it in hopes it would get patched. NOW finally ready to throw myself into the best version of it!

When the Legend of Zelda is going to a different direction starting BOTW, its nice to see indie devs preserve the classic and nostalgic mechanics that made the old school Zelda shine. It's great that the devs polished the game since its rough launch. A big respect for them. I'll be supporting their future project.❤

I've considered playing this since launch because I'm a big fan of Ni no kuni and the artstyle really speaks to me, but now I'm absolutely certain I'll have a blast playing it! I just love when devs stick with their game and continue to update it until it's perfect.

Oh woah I wasn’t expecting another one of these videos on my feed. Impressive that they never gave up on their game. Kudos to them as some companies not only don’t fix their game but also not keep their customers in the know of them actually fixing it.

I was interested in this game when it was first announced. The reviews starting the game had many issues stopped me from buying it. Now that I've heard it's the great game I always thought it could be, I finally bought it. Thank you to the developers for not leaving it a broken game.

Baldo took 15 years and even though it had its fair share of problems you could see the love was there and the rest fixing the game whole lot of extra free content its just amazing to have such a great team bring such a warn lovely game that for us who played it we know it was a great adventure with or without the problems.... I just got a notification on DekuDeals of this game having a sale in my region! I've always liked the look. I've never played an old school Zelda game so I have no preconceived notions so this should be a good time!

Mark, Mark, Mark, you’re killing me! Dragging me back into the Baldo world, one I followed for years and years before it released, then played, loved through gritted teeth, until its faults just ground me down. Like phenotopia it was hard as nails but I soldiered through, didn’t finish due to various issues, backtracking and vague direction. Gonna have to redownload to play this DLC, I’m trusting you that my enjoyment will Out way the grind, coz I still love the Baldo style

What a gem of a game. You can tell the devs really put love into it. Sadly, I no longer own the game anymore, but after this new content I will definitely be picking this up again!

I wound up returning this game at launch due to all the issues, but I'm happy to see they worked so hard on it. I need to add it to my list to buy again I guess.

Ive wanted to play this for the longest time. It feels like now would be a great time! I always struggle to commit to a game 🙈 my wish list is a mile long while I sit here not sure what I want to play.

Kudos to them for sticking with it. I bought the physical version back in March, and played it in July or so, with whatever was the most up to date version at the time. It was nice, but not without it's hame breaking glitches at times, like Puzzles that would break easily and become impossible to complete. I can't quite put it into words but some moments were infuriating because of that... And some Puzzles I solved but wondering if I got them because I glitched my way through or whether I did it the intended way. I still enjoyed it overall despite that and I'm still glad I got it cause it has magical moments. It's a very pretty game with an amazing soundtrack and the frog singer still cracks me up and its song makes me giggly happy inside 😊

Being a massive Zelda fan with a daughter who is a massive Ghibli fan, I always thought that Baldo looked like a perfect game for us to play through together. The initial reception put me off, but maybe now is the time to take the leap. Big respect to the team for sticking with it.

Imagine a world where they spent more time on it initially, and released it in a state that was received well. Maybe they would have been satisfied, said they're done and moved on. Sometimes it's important to remember that a failure can lead to a greater success than what you would have achieved.

I was so hyped when this was announced then incredibly disappointed when I heard about how the release version was. I'm so glad it's finally been finished and can't wait to get it now. Hopefully they can get their next game to this kind of state before release.

It's quite admirable they commend to fix their game. Most developers would just move forward to their next game, but this was their baby and they wanted it to be as good as possible. As a game dev aficionado, they have my sincere respect.

One of the very few teams that really cares about the games, i know that its not easy but with the correct amount of loge you can really make something special. Shouout to the no mans sky team and dying light team. Now this game is what we really need, a zeldalike ghibli style game. 10/10

Need to get back into this. Played after your initial resurrection of Baldo video and it had a few things that I couldn’t get into but honestly think I was just too hyped for TOTK. After playing TOTK and reflecting on this, the world building in Baldo is so much better. Every corner you turn feels like a real place that is actually lived in instead of just a templated town half a dozen times over.
