I have a base 70 GTO that is in need of a restore. The shell is not great with a vinyl top with holes. I have an opportunity to get a 70 Lemans frame and shell with it very straight little body work. If I use the shell on my GTO. Would it still be a GTO or Lemans? How would I put the vin on the Lemans shell to keep it a GTO?

70 judge did not come with the 400 HO it only was available with RA3 , RA4 OR 455HO. Probably A gto but not A judge sorry.

It says ram air on the hood scoops and its got the ram air pans and foam gasket set You can see where the hood tach used to be So it’s probably a real judge or a good clone Or perhaps its original block was blown up ? Thats not uncommon What’s unusual is seeing the air conditioner on a judge Most guys wanted as much horsepower as possible

@@gibsondrummer I've seen A few judges with air mostly 455 cars and air wasn't available on RA4 cars but I watched it again and it's hard to see but I think this car has RA3 manifolds and intake this guy just may not know A lot about GTOs yet and it's A sin to rob A goat of its hood tac.

@@csmith9839 A/C on Ram Air 3 Judges was pretty popular. And you are right, it wasn't available on the Ram Air 4. But a Ram Air 4 would say "Ram Air IV" on the hood scoops if it had original graphics. Maybe the guy isn't a Pontiac expert but from all appearances it sure looks like a real Judge to me and I own/have owned 2.

I am very disappointed that you chose an Electronic distributor over the stock stock Keep it stock keep it real. You know as well as I do those distributors were meant to last they could be rebuilt unlike today's distributors
