When you stopped with Minecraft you kinda disappeared from my YT start page. A few days ago I was like "hm i wonder where that Minecraft dude went that always had those nice messages that go with incredible footage. When I went back to your channel I wondered if you were the same person for a moment, but I still enjoyed the new style. Your Minecraft is just so aesthetic, watching you play a long with some commentary is mesmerising. In my opinion, people are just used to those videos with flat straight forward commentary, but, on the other hand, your minecraft videos have something in it, and we all can't tell exactly what. Just like watching some guy on youtube with a background of cs surf, who is talking about random stuff. So, for me, it kinda makes sense that your minecraft content will hit bigger audience. But still, making videos is an art, and you just cannot do the same thing over and over again, I hope you can find your balance in it. Take care and be yourself

I’m so excited the Minecraft content is back, you were a main inspiration for me starting my own gaming (seperate) channel, and your insights and perspectives are still sticking with me. Minecraft will never die ❤ Also, your channel and journey remind me of another big KZfaqr, Tim Hansen, who revived the COD Zombies community a few years ago with mod showcases, video essays, ranking videos, solo game challenges, playing with his friends, etc. and gained a million subs, but he stopped making gaming content when he graduated high school, and said he was jaded and burnt out on COD Zombies and he focused on a podcast instead. He eventually came back after a long while, everyone missed him so bad, and his channel is thriving again. He revealed that he was stuck in a toxic relationship with his baby mama, going through severe depression and addictions that he worked hard to kick, and he’s doing much better now. I think it’s a good thing to be proud and appreciate your ability to take risks and adapt to change your whole style of content and try something new, and you can view it as you needing a long break to understand yourself and reevaluate your goals, your plans for your content and what it is you enjoy about a certain game or topic you make content about

I have never watched your videos, but I like your channel at first look from this video. I can really appreciate your emphasis on the calming aesthetics. I think since you're going back into Minecraft and also want to IRL videos, you could have some scenes where you green-screen yourself into a stationary clip in Minecraft and color correct it to match. Either way, this is great content. Nice job :)

I have never been recommended one of your videos nor have watched any of your content, but you are one of the first KZfaqrs I have seen that has made that specific message to their viewers and have communicated with their audience as humans-- not an algorithm. We understand. I'm sure if you've seen the other comments here you know what I'm talking about. "So glad you're back" "Do what makes you happy" I am just glad to see someone who understands that they can go back, and that change to your channel is not permanent. You can upload what you want, and that's the beauty of having something to fall back to. I've been playing a lot of modded Minecraft, but always experience burnout halfway through a lot of quest-based modpacks... seeing someone enjoying the vanilla (somewhat) experience of Minecraft, one powered by your own imagination and the actual *adventure*, inspired me. Personally, I liked this video. It's my first time watching your content, and I just... watched through. This video made me want to play Minecraft with my friends again. Thank you for that.

Awesome video so far, am watching through the entire thing and there's no boring moment! Just a joy to watch you rediscover Minecraft through the DH mod as well as talk about the projects you're passionate about, I've been smiling for the majority of my watchtime. The main reason I'm commenting however is to suggest a name for the town you and your friends are working on: how about lodestown? It's a little play on 'lodestone' and 'town', reflecting how working on the town draws all of you in just like the magnetic effect of the lodestone. Also, the word lodestone apparently stems from medieval English, in which it translates to 'course stone' or 'leading stone', with 'lode' meaning something along the lines of 'way' or 'path'. This could of course symbolize many things but perhaps it depicts how the project is a journey in and of itself. But you're of course free to give meaning to it in your own way! Also lodestones are of course an actual block in the game so you've instantly got yourself some iconography as well :)

Your screen is going black like that when you go under water because of the enhanced visuals mod. It does that with other shaders too, like nostalgia shaders. Also, the end (especially better end) and thunder storms look great with Bliss shaders. The reason I loved your old Minecraft videos wasn't because they were in Minecraft, it was the feeling you got from them. I was happy when I saw you posted a vid in the evening and I could wind down and watch, lissen and think about life while watching beautiful gameplay. I stopped watching after a few irl vids because they were just plain boring. I don't mean to be mean but the fact of the matter is that listening to a guy talk for 40 minutes about random things while sitting on a rock is just not very appealing to most people. I think if you first off made your IRL content a little shorter like 10/15/20 minutes, that would make it a lot more appealing to stick around for the conclusion of your story. And second and IMO most importantly, I think you shouldn't just sit on a rock, make it interesting to look at, add a few drone shots, add some crudely drawn animations to illustrate what you're talking about, add some video's of you walking around beautiful scenery like the Minecraft video's. I think if you just transfered your minecraft cinematography to real life, you'd be a lot more succesfull in those videos.
