DJ May I’m assuming this is an Alt reality Superboy Prime from the Dark Multiverse or timeline aberration. He also could be the actual Superboy prime from Shazam, they dropped him off with the JLA after the 14th issue cause they couldn’t house him in the Rock of Eternity anymore, and the Philly super prison is built primarily for Magic villains.

I’m going to be honest, I’ve been just getting back into comics but storylines like these are making it hard. I absolutely love the idea of it but I just miss the simplicity of stories with the justice league and avengers like the infinity gauntlet or Tower of Babel. Characters such as the endless, angels and presence exist outside of the multuverse and are very much broken in terms of power (Basically spectre gets used as a 💩 rag by any one of them). The presence is currently missing kinda how he was missing in the show Supernatural for a long time, however last I checked his granddaughter Elaine Belloc also the daughter of Michael aka Lucifer Morningstar's brother has taken over and is just as powerful as the actual presence some believe she actually is the presence reincarnation some believe the presence is dead by unknown means and she has simply inherented the throne. Without writers legitimately saying so I'm not making assumptions. As far as we know he is simply missing however his granddaughter is just as powerful as the actual presence and she will be on the throne until he comes back if he ever does.

Hey @Variant, I'm not sure you are aware of this but Superboy Prime returned in The Shazam story arc. I believe in issues 11 - 13. And he is the real one. He remembers things like how Wally Flash, Kid Flash - Bart and Superboy - Connor remember things. He even talks about Captain Marvel Jr, and yes, he mentioned him by that name. Martha in a battle suit, now that sounds crazy, i can see her as a trouble/tragic character struggling with her losses and morals, kinda like a villain but not quite all evil, something similar to Mr. Freeze. This just left me feeling confused and mildly annoyed. I'm so lost on what exactly is happening here, and why DC is going (pardon the pun) batshit insane with all these hybrid batmen... more than half of which aren't even batmen, just said to be some mix of him and other beings. I feel like the main story has been almost completely lost under this avalanche of 'what ifs' they're throwing into the mix.

Dc comics are oversaturated with batman now....i.mean it was around a few years ago but now its dialed up 100....its a great time to be a deranged batman fan cos ur essentially getting deep throated and prostate massaged at the same time.....while the rest of us who are fond of other characters have to watch batman fuckin take up all of the comics.....fucking stupid man....they need people in charge who love and respect all of the characters at dc who can invest time into fleshing out lesser known characters instead of relying on batman when sales are down

How the F would this be an elseworlds story lol This is taking on the entirety of DC's crises and going even beyond as the BWL with the full power of Dr. Manhattan is stronger than Perpetua lol that's nuts So not only are they "fixing" the previous crises that have been looping forever, they are also trying to stop another crisis from happening which would be BWL catching Wally and getting his share of Manhattan's powers So yeah, such a massive story would never be an elseworld story lol This just has been very slowly building for years and now it's all letting lose and rampaging accross multiples titles and therefore, "battlefields" if i may 😂
