In the northern Great Plains of the US Grey Partridge have gone from one of the most common upland game species to one now you have to really work to find. The last good years were in the late 90s and very early 2000s. What a shame! Nice to see this video and the BFC being proactive partnering with other working groups.

As a young Falconer myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the video. Hopefully by the time I get a bird, they'll be a good supply of these to go around :)! Good explanations and keep up the conservation work. Regards Bradazthefalconer

Do you put back what you take of reared them your self

back in the 50s, I used to take a load of manure around the field stake it in cocks every 20 yards that then was our holding ground for the greys. that field had in about 200 cocks infested with insects. the field was rough grass, the greys loved it. Briddy.

Theres loads were I go lamping rabbits with my lurchers,, never see a red legged partridge, french partridge,,,,but were I go I see conveys of greys ,not just one of my permissions either but on most places I lamp.👍
