As part of the Festival of Grace in 1965, Bishop James Pike invited the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to visit and preach at Grace Cathedral to mark the completion and consecration of the cathedral. On March 28, 1965, the fourth Sunday of Lent, Dr. King spoke to a crowd of 5,000. Only three days before, he had led the third of the Selma to Montgomery marches.
What you will hear is his entire sermon given that day, along with the existing video and archival photographs.

Wow, I never heard him preach before, but now after hearing this,..... I now know this man was biblically ignorant!! Civil rights leader is one thing, but Bible Preacher/teacher he was NOT! Hope he was saved.

When you live in DARKNESS , how great is that darkness ? " I Hope you are saved ! " Dr. Martin Luther king Jr. Would have never said that about you . This man loved all people , even the woman who stabbed him near his heart, he didn't even speak evil of her . Love is the greatest , you will not enter in no matter how you preach . You don't have love you don't know GOD, and you can't enter in , please remember that and put your hate far away from your heart . Guard your heart for out of it come the issues of life . Peace .
