I was lucky enough to be at a VIP meet & greet last year where u could spend some time with the guys & crack a couple of beers. This song is probably the thing I brought up the most. Don’t get me wrong ... THEIR stuff is brilliant but this cover is next level. Great group & can’t wait to see em again!!

They played the New Orleans Jazz Fest and were fantastic, then they came and played at Alexandria, LA. two weeks later and blew the crowd away. This band is so tight, professional musicians with super talent, front man David Shaw is amazing. The sky is the only limit for these guys. After the concert, David cared so much for the fans, he stayed and took pictures and signed autographs for hundreds of people. Thank you The Revivalists for making your performance one of the best nights ever in Alexandria for many of us fans. Rock on and God bless ya'll.

I'm 54 with no husband or children, but I have always been an aunt to every child that has come into my life.. now you may think what the hell does this doing have to do with children.. well I'll tell ya..I tell every male child around me my entire life, ta treat women like this song, say the words, and love her like this.... @tbngeorgetown; I'm a man with no wife or children. A few years older than you. I'm an uncle, a great uncle and now a great, great uncle. This song has been one of my all time favorites. Sadly i don't know what its like to love somebody, because i have never been in love before and kind of gave up trying to find it. But if i were this is the song that's instilled in my heart. One time i was visiting my niece and her 2 boy's up in Colorado. Everyone was in bed and i had my little cot downstairs with earbuds and a little Mp3 player listening to this and started singing along. I didn't think i was singing very loud but my great nephews came running downstairs in disbelief. They didn't know their great uncle could belt out vocals like that and asked what i was singing because it sounded so sweet .Their words, not mine. they wanted to hear more. I said in the morning boys and i'll tell you what it's all about. (funny huh? me giving advice on love) First thing the next morning (early ugh.) so i gave them the '' Be the best man you can ever be'' speech then sang the song karaoke style. Afterwards they asked me why i didn't have a wife. I said Because God hasn't introduced us yet. Now their grown up and have family's. They all are happy with great kids (smart little cookies) who think their great great uncle is crazy, but that's another story . I guess '' The Speech'' and this song carried them into manhood. Sorry for rambling on but i was reading the comments and saw yours and it seems to me we are like two birds of a feather and had to share this with you Have a wonderful day. P.S. don't let my avitar fool you Its from a picture i drew that looked like Captain Morgan and i made up the name. I quit smoking years ago.

I grew up and came of age during the dreaded Disco era. Although I hated Disco then, and still do today (curiously, in my attempt to find music that was more meaningful and substantive, I turned to the works of such “progressive/indie” musicians as David Bowie, Brian Ferry, et al), this was the one song that I could listen to for hours. To hear it performed here with so much heartfelt emotion is truly wonderful.

I'll admit he has a decent voice, though. He's kinda got that whole "blue eyed soul" vibe going on in this performance.

Love these guys. An old school BeeGees fan (61) and this is my favorite cover of one of my favorite Gibb songs. Incredibly tight band , heartfelt performances by all. Nina Simone and Water & Rust also do this well but ..damn.

Bong Vo seriously !! David Shaws energy is so intense. they played a small show where I live, maybe 50 people , real intimate set.. it was truly amazing .

Having a mini Revivalists concert for NYE. Thank you for this gem from The Ultimate Band Ever to Exist BeeGees being covered by our new favorite to celebrate with my wife.☮️💙☀️ From South Florida. Can't wait for Revivalists to hit the road in 2019.
