Inspired by the Marymoor Crawl, which takes place each year at the Marymoor Grand Prix in the US, the rules to the Revolution Longest Lap are simple: riders start on the finish straight but must not cross the finish line for between 3 and 4 minutes (only the starter knows the exact time). If they put a foot down or touch another rider they are eliminated. Once the time is up, the starter's gun is fired and the race is on - an all-out one-lap sprint for victory.

Nice change of pace with a different skill highlighted. The handling skills required to race in the sprint and endurance events is simply amazing. The craziest thing we did at the Forest City Velodrome is fastest lap in the REVERSE direction on the track. That would be something I would like to see done on a 250/333m track. It is a totally different sensation and there were many close calls.

is there any reason to go to the left instead of right?

Remember track standing is harder in their track ratio than your low ratio.

I was thinking it was strange how many fell off before the start. I track stand throughout every red light I come up to.

What do you mean by low ratio
@ohmingfeng93514 жыл бұрын
means the ratio of the crank to the casset is lower compared to fixed gears cog

Everybody picks a place to start, (usually the rail, and if your track stand skills are lacking, the further from the start line the better) Then they say "Go" and you need to track stand or roll VERY slowly forward. somewhere between 3 and 4 minutes, the gun goes off, and everybody spins like heck! A track stand is easier done in a small gear, but to win, you need a bigger gear, once the gun goes off. So pick your poison.

No you idiots 🤣😂 the lycra skin suit is the lightest and most aerodynamic clothes you can wear when your cycling and as well as freedom of movement
