Nicholas Gumbo. I thank you for highlighting this truth and how I wish this episode could reach all the Siaya villages through our incoming governor Eng. Gumbo aka Wajonya. Let this video be viral in Siaya County and remove sand from their ears and denounce a Puppet called James Orengo for a governor. We cannot continue like this !! NO. NO. NO!

Everything in Siaya is truly under-developed. They have a referral hospital where you have to buy your own gloves whenever you want to see a doctor. They even lack a centralized system to manage the hospital bills. You have to pay for services through mpesa and equity kiosks operating within the hospital. Lets talk about mugging on another day.

Good work. People from Nyanza are generally bright. I am impressed by what i am seeing in Siaya in 2022, I schooled in Siaya county when I was in form 1 and 2 and the town was not that good looking.

....and Siaya is about to elect a Nairobi/Kiambu resident as governor...makosa. Orengo has all his social circles in Nairobi and will therefore spend most of his time in Nairobi.Siaya will still be a slow coach. I think Kenya counties need a new rule, that all elective posts are reserved for residents, who have been living at their fixed abode for at least one year. Watu wa Nairobi watafute viti Nairobi!

Good stuff bro continue doing this. Have done some project in this county at the time I thought it had some very good rural road networks. Roads leading straight into the lake especially those Rarieda, uyoma, usenge and the Siaya nyadora roads. I understand due to limited resources you can't cover the whole county maybe a resident would correct me if am wrong on this. I doubt any of the roads have mentioned was financed by the county but the former pms influence.

Good job. The management of resources and delivery is self evident for every county. A good forum for benchmarking like for like with objective results. Devolution as a means of promoting good leaders to national leadership is what has made China produce great and visionary leaders at the national level. Devolution can be a good tool for leadership by meritocracy ( ie performance) rather than the tried, tested and failing leadership by democracy ( ie promises). Thank you.

All this boils down to leadership. The county governor should be a Manager, a person who is devt. conscious, a strategic leader who is able to deliver with resources allocated. If u elect a good manager u get results, but if u elect a mediocre, expect minimal devts. However i find ur comparisons wanting.
