This show was made in 2010 and the original podcast is even older; you'll see as it progresses that Karl says several things that have since been proved correct or even seem wise in hindsight. I won't spoil it. 😆

@@Milamberinx To be fair that comes across as discounting Karl as a fool. It's easy to be a retard in one area but be a "genius" in another. My friends son is Autistic and he's fucking terrible at Maths and English, couldn't even pass the simplest of tests. He is however a great chef.

Let’s not get it twisted. Carl is an idiot. Academically useless, but he’s genuine and harmless, super funny and just down to earth. If everyone was like him, we wouldn’t have much advances in technology but it would be a nicer world.

These podcasts are from 2006. Before that was the Ricky Gervais Show on XFM which Karl produced from 2001-2004ish. After the podcasts, the next thing was An Idiot Abroad which was from 2009 An Idiot Abroad 2 2010, Idiot Abroad 3 ft. Warwick Davis 2012 and then The Moaning of Life which was Karl’s own travel, far less stressful, show from 2013. Thank you again for reacting to these and doing them in order, I’m always appreciate it when other cultures and can appreciate each other

The animation is so simple yet very accurate on Carl and Stephen. Their expressions....GOLD! My favorite is when Stephen sets Carl up and is gleefullly awaiting an absurd response. Carl's eyebrows and lower lip is perfection! Love this show. Thank you for posting this. I didn't know this existed and I've watched the Office, Extras, Idiot Abroad and most of Ricky's stand up. These three are a comedy power throuple.

A borstal is what you'd call a Young Offenders Institute, basically a place for children/teens to go when they get involved in crime and gangs. It's like halfway between school and prison.

They have to perform tasks to earn food, some are eating tasks with items such as kangaroo testicles, blended cockroaches or a camels anus. It's so funny, Karl would freak.
