You know this is actually a good way to make a durable net that doesn't scratch up the ball as much. Whatever there's a chain kind of net it always tears up the ball but cloth nets don't last nearly as long.

They are almost as big as the top ring, they held together by chains making it have a lot give to them and not stiff making the ball not likely to bounce off them hard and theres not a good angle (if you make the shot) where it would hit those rings solid. So I call BULLSH*T that bounces out when you make basket and you’re just lying or completely exaggerating because it happened to you maybe one time your whole life. Or you’re just straight up lying

I live in the UK and here those hoops are everywhere (the video is from the UK). Half of the time when you make a shot, the ball hits one of the inner rims and bounces back out again and other times it takes like 5 minutes for the ball to stop spinning and finally go through.

It’s never a good idea to stand on the last two rungs of a ladder or step stool. You could fall and hurt yourself so always remember keep your nose between your toes and always make 3 points of contact with both feet and a thigh or hand.

In the UK we have rims and nets exactly like this with "soccer" (football) goals underneath, also like this. They're incredibly annoying as the metal on the rim is so thick it just bounces off and the net can also make it bounce out.

The rims got stole all the time so they would weld a net on. No one was stealing them anymore. They wouldn't put a net on thinking that would stop the theft but didn't and also noticed that the basketball would go through and go way out the back. So a guy made the 2 ring net to keep kids from running after the balls. We had all kinds of different rims and in KCK

Use two, one in top ring and one on the bottom ring, leave middle ring out, see if that's any better. Two basket nets would be a good safety measure in the NBA to combat head Injuries to players defending against slam dunks when underneath the hoop 🏀.

When basketball was first played the basket was exactly that, a peach basket with the bottom still in it. Every time somebody made a basket they had to bring out a ladder to retrieve the ball. It was years before they finally just cut the bottom out.

Triple rings are a common sight. Good design for a few reasons. Saves wear and tear on the net and prevents the ball from flying out at an angle and bouncing off the court wasting seconds of play.

You could easily make this into a game/challenge. In order for you to make a point the ball has to go through all the nets. If your ball gets stuck and your opponent knocks your ball back out the top, you don't get a point.
