After the “Bachelor in Paradise” finale and an emotional reunion show, Katie Morton and Chris Bukowski visited “Extra’s” WeWork offices in NYC. They opened up on some of their challenges as a couple and how they have worked through them since filming the reunion. Plus, what’s next for them?

The most interesting thing about the entire Bachelor franchise is the way it reaches into people’s souls about creating this “perfect ideal” of meeting your “soulmate” and finding your “person” and finding love and all that. I am so happy to see two real people struggle with real life things about how complicated a relationship actually is. I am getting so fed up of this fake veneer that this show creates, and the best thing about this video is seeing the real deal struggles that these two are going through, the way millions of couples do every single day. There is no perfect relationship. FINALLY a sense of reality. Go guys go! 👏🏼 Relationships are work! And can we all stop pretending to pine after this so-called fairy tale of the final rose!? Life is complicated, messy, real, and it’s worth it.

Praying for them, all relationships are tough but having your relationship filmed for a tv show is hard. Everything is out there trying to be perfect, glad that they had flaws it really shows a real relationship instead of the perfect love story we see on tv or in movies. Flaws are okay , we all have them. Glad that they are communicating about it and being real.

I saw in another interview that they took the time to learn their Love Languages. Knowing that they did that says a lot and that they are really working towards making this work. I wish the best to them.

I actually have an old friend who was in a relationship JUST like Katie and Chris when they first started dating. He was an extreme introvert, was burned by other women. She was extremely outgoing and very insecure, especially when he wasn’t demonstrative with his feelings. They had a bit of a rocky time early on... but they ended up getting married and having kids and here they sit on being married almost 25 years! It takes work but it WILL work!

This is my favorite couple. I think she's an extrovert and he's an introvert. He's cares. I also think their "storyline " was they were the rocky couple. I think the whole ring thing was produced. I think Katie shared the real deal. They get engaged to a stranger so that time before they can be out in the world is stressful.

@@darealmccoi9780 Chris on Emily season caused fights on the men tell all episode. He made it to home town dates. He is Polish a Bar Owner/Manager big family from Chicago. He was promoting his restaurant business back then. He seemed a bit of a player he was 26 years old then. On bachelor Pad his personality was narccisstic, and talked shit about a girl he hooked up with on that program. He really hurt her feelings she really liked him. The show was about winning a prize of 250,000. His reputation was not stellar and he was not liked very well. People were trying to illinimate him off the show. You can Google Chris B on bachelor pad. I believe it was season 6. He was a bit evil . You notice Kate mentioned that Chris did not speak to her much after the bachelor In Paradise stop airing and wasn't validating her feelings. Look up the word narccisstic personality he kind of falls under that category. Again this is all acting and wining a price.

I love Chris and Katie. They are my favorite couple this season. I hope it works out for them. I'm just like Katie. I feel the great need to talk and I can also get very emotional. It can cause problems in relationships. Relationships can be so hard. I pray it works out for them. I'm excited to hear wedding plans for them. They are both so good looking. Katie has such beautiful eyes.

i feel great watching them. the fact that they poured their issues out on live tv and in public, yet are still going strong says this is real and they are meant to be. I'm glad they got to reality first so the rest of their lives can be bliss

I disagree. They needed to learn some crucial things about each other...in order to build something that is healthy and strong. Many couples must go through a crucial growth and learning phase, or else the relationship would fail. Relationships are not typically like Hannah and Dylan's.

In my opinion I only think it's this complicated due to the extenuating circumstances put on them by being isolated in Mexico, pressures from being on national TV and pressure from producers, exec, contacts etc and also having to realize that have to deal with the real world and their real selves even the cameras stop rolling and I think they really want to at least give it a shot without all the extra. Of ALL the couples they seem to be the most mature about what real life people deal with in relationships and the number one thing is learning how to communicate with each other

I am really happy and proud of Katie and Chris for doing the work that comes with being in a relationship. Not every relationship looks the same. I respect Katie for being so genuine and honest about her feelings. I mean their courtship was very fast, emotional, away from family and on TV. It takes time to really get to know someone. I've seen Chris and he hasn't been that comfortable in front of the camera. I think he really loves and cares for Katie. Wishing them all the best. My new favorite couple.

You do know reality shoes aren't real. They are scripted it's there plot, when Chris looks at Katy he's in. He loves her, they are fine it was a plot.

I feel for her, because she trusts the change, but the spots don't change that fast. he's self centered, doesn't like her honest approach, and flares like a child when the truth is exposed. Blaming her for what happened is the way an abuser tries to confuse the issues. You saw it when they were talking in the alley...He waited till they got out there and shamed her. In any relationships u have your problems and I am glad to see Katie and Chris going through so much .. That is what builds a relationship stronger and I am sorry if not all of u agree with there relationship ... hell they might just surprise all of u .. It really think Katie was feeling abandoned and therefore extremely insecure in the relationship, which was extremely painful for her, which she aired on the reunion show. I can understand why Chris would feel hurt and blind sided that she put all of those feelings out there on national tv. But my sense is that neither of them was really at fault. Hopefully they have made it past that hurdle, and understand the dynamics of their relationship better, and both understand what they need to work on to keep their relationship healthy and strong. Katie needs to keep her emotions in check and not drag herself or others into despair, and Chris needs to realize that any woman, not just Katie, needs a man to demonstrate his love for her, not only speak it.

Ironic he said he’s still trying to “manage” her (mood).. watching the reunion show and the scene outside the building, it looked a lot more like she was busy trying to manage his.. not to mention, his poor attitude toward her was him upset that she decided to sit and tell the truth. A truth that he agreed with and had heard time and time again before that point.

Chris said it is not easy ,in my opinion he makes it difficult because he always had some issues and Katie does too. Many times to high expectations of each other is problematic , i experienced that and it creates a lot resentment when those expectations are not met .

Does anyone remember on Emily’s season when Chris was eliminated after home towns ? There was a moment where he angrily said to Emily after she let him go “ I told you that I loved you!” I remember feeling like he was actually angry at her and he had a scary look in his eyes. I know this has nothing to do with his and Katie’s relationship I was just wondering if anyone remembers that ? I remember thinking at the time this guy might be abusive.Not saying that he is !

First of all I remember Katie almost lost Chris and she regretted it and he went on dating someone else there cuz she told him to date others and she cried like hell. He doubted her a lot. I don't know she is ready. I'm glad they are trying to make it work but both have issues.
