If a TV show ever deserved the Every Frame a Painting brand of approval, it's RIPLEY.

Blown away. Thank you Gary! This is a ton of fun! I did this with one of my favorite black and whites and created my own preset. WOW.

What a great idea! As I usually work mostly in Camera Raw I haven't worked with gradient maps in the past. I will definitely give this a try.

Stoating stuff I didn't know you could do this. I keep getting drawn to B&W more and more and have been trying to refine my own work for a wee while, this could be a great help thanks. I have just been introduce to the work of Francis Meadow Sutcliffe exquisite.

Gary - in adobe color do you extract theme or extract gradient please? When I import it and save to my library it doesn't apply to the image. Tried double clicking it - ensured background layer wasn't locked. Really kinda stumped trying to do this. Tried it manually like you did also but the "your presets" option wasn't there. God PS frustrates me sometimes lol

The difference between Ripley and pretty much every other thing turned into black and white, this series was actually shot for black and white.

Can't get to that app. Adobe insists on Adobe Express, which looks nothing like what you show. Even when I enter the url you show, I get to Adobe Express.

One challenge is capturing an image from Netflix when content is protected. Ordinary screenshots come out black. There are workarounds for most browsers but I didn't see one for Safari on MacOS. Any secrets?
