I had enough time today to make a video so BAM! I've wanted to talk about Club Penguin for quite some time now and would love to do a huge long overview of the PSA missions cuz they were my favourite but for now, enjoy this retrospective on Club Penguins B)

this is the first time ive watched a club penguin video by someone who doesnt usually make club penguin videos where it really feels like they actually like care about the game and grew up with it and stuff its really nice to see this is a good video

Love this video & all the reminiscing! I don't remember experiencing a ton of Club Penguin parties, but the ones that always stick out to me are the Medieval Party and the April Fool's one. Loved the Box Dimension, and for the Medieval one I just love that fantasy aesthetic so seeing everything redone in that style & buying the special clothes was always a treat!

Good days to remember while im playin on my favorite private club penguin server. New Club Penguin offers everyone Membership accounts which was a big thing in my childhood like you said too. Im over 20 years old and still love to play this game because it is goofy and fun.

I played from late 2009 until the very end of the 2015 Holiday Party. My memory is pretty blank about the late 2000s but throughout the years... 1. I was a member only in the days of the re-design. 2. I unfortunately never got aboard the Festival of Flight balloon. 3. In the 2012 Music Jam I got Cadence's and the Penguin Band's stamps. 4. Every time I saw the box to the box dimension I *never ignored it once.* 5. Long before the re-design I did become a tour guide and that was like a dream come true. 6. In the days of the re-design, I did enjoy Operation Hot Sauce and Operation Puffle but definetly not nearly as much as Operation Blackout. 7. Puffle Shuffle was my favourite fair party minigame, the circus was my favourite location. 8, Regarding puffles, my favourite colours were blue and pink, minigame was Puffle Roundup and I absolutely loved the fact that they got their very own circus. 10. I wasn't a member for long so only until the re-design I didn't get the pink puffle, I didn't fight Herbert's hydras, get exclusive items and so on. I will forever regret never wanting the special brown puffle. I'm calling it special because it had an extremely unique quest dedicated to finding it. 11. I did find it surprising and weird that they squeezed in a hotel between the plaza and the puffle shop.. and added a 12. When the 2014 Frozen Party came, I did find it ridiculous that neither of the main characters were actually meetable. Shortly after, I listened to the song Let It Go and showed it to my mother. She then told me that my sister knows Frozen while I was completely new to it. 13. I absolutely loved going to the recycling plant and clicking everything I could each time I went there. 14. The only things I found enjoyable about the Disney film based parties were the main characters and some of the free items. About the 2014 Music Jam... *I was distraught that the DJ3K was permanently replaced by the SoundStudio and they dared to call that a minor update.* The presence of the cruise ship was the only bright side to the party. 15. When there wasn't a party, the thing that excited me the most is looking out of the telescope to see the most exciting ship in the game: the Migrator, coming towards the island. The most memorable and unique party involving that ship was Rockhopper's Quest, which was also the unfortunately one party in which we actually saw the ship move. For that very reason was Rockhopper's Quest in my opinion the #1 most unique party followed by Operation Blackout. I never even knew about the announcement about this game shutting down. But I'll be honest, the fact that they replaced the recycling plant with a school permanently disgusted me (no pun intended, I swear to you). I'll especially never understand them replacing the iconic stage, a place that housed the Switchbox 3000: *A feature that rewarded you a pin for using it during a party or not* with a stupid mall that nobody asked for.

As someone who joined in late 2012, and would consider 2013 to be my favorite year of Club Penguin (although 2014 onwards was where the game dropped), I really loved the takeovers from 2013. I especially loved how the Teen Beach Movie party wasn’t a normal takeover but also a summer party at the same time. The way they combined the movie with the summer party was so cool to me. Also the Star Wars one was great and even if the Monsters University one was unnecessary, I loved the movie and the party was kinda neat Also I just want to mention that I feel like even if the game went downhill in 2014, there were some parties that were fun, and even the ones that were overall poor did still have some fun moments

Awesome video! Club penguin parties were always such a huge Highlight of the game for me growing up, many of my fondest memories of club penguin came from these monthly parties, I do also want to give my two cents on the cross promo parties and just the parties from 2013 onwards as I honestly didn't think they are all horrible, for example I though the shake it up cross promo party was really cool when I was 12 cause it was basically another music jam, and there was a special stadium where if you waited long enough, you could see cadance and the penguin band preforming "the party starts now" which was an absolute banger for me as a kid along with all the other club penguin songs, another one for example I can think of was the 2013 puffle party where they hyped up the rainbow puffle and it was so cool that they took such a puffle that was rumored and joked about for such a long time into a real thing, and the puffle hotel was really cool and gave more to do with your puffle outside of the igloo, the prehistoric party was pretty cool for me too, just the core concept of turning into a dinosaur and seeing club penguin in prehistoric times was so awesome, the dinosaur puffles were cool too, I remember kid me took pictures of each playable dinosaur on my dsi and I still have those pictures to this day, the marvel one, specifically the 2013 one was pretty cool in my opinion, especially if you played as a villain you could choose a robot assistant and can through boulders around club penguin and absolutely destroy buildings it was absolutely unhinged. I did think the teen beach movie party was alright tbh, mostly for the beach theming and the cool outfits they made for it, I also liked how you could even drive through a high way or surf on a massive wave depending on wether you wanted to be a biker or a surfer, the monsters university did have an interesting stealth minigame and I actually really liked the star wars party as it was the most exposure I had to that franchise up to that point, I did also like the minigame where you could play as a han solo penguin shooting penguin stormtroopers that did the wilhelm scream every time you killed them, as for the frozen events, yeah I have to agree those were lame, I tried my best to like them at the time but I just couldn't, especially considering that I was absolutely sick of seeing frozen all over the place when they did the first cross promo event, Honestly I don't remember too much from the merry walrus event but I thought it was fine too, I did like the crystal puffle and it even had a special tv movie to promote it, I don't remember if it was good or not but I do remember being really hyped for it, although, l will admit that even I eventually got tired of all the cross promo parties, which was somewhere around 2015-2016, which was when I was losing interest in club penguin and felt like the game was getting really stale, I think my breaking point was the inside out, zootopia and finding dory parties, they just...Didn't really grab my attention anymore and I think may have just gotten tired of all of the cross promo as well along with me just feeling like I was too old for the game. overall I felt like the cross promo events were hit miss more than anything else some of them had some pretty fun and creative ideas going for them, and others were just not really that interesting and didn't have much to write home about, club penguin parties were definetely at their best when they did more original stuff, some highlights for me include the 2012 halloween party, operation blackout, the 2013 prehistoric party and puffle party, along with many more I could list out, so yeah, I've played the game from 2010 to 2016 and I've seen the game go through so many changes, both good and bad and I cannot deny that the over reliance on other disney ips for parties made club penguin lose it's charm over time and it made it feel more like a vehicle for disney to promote their other franchises rather than having it stand as on it's own with it's own original ideas, again, not that the team was devoid of creativity once they started doing those parties but over time it just became more and more obvious that disney was using club penguin as a vehicle to promote their other ips and making the game feel more and more corporate over time.

Tbh I’ll always love club penguin. I have been using CPPS since 2012 for the original feel I grew up with since 2007. They use the best parties, none of that Disney crap

Great video! Always love to watch some Club Penguin content and sub to the channel. If I’m correct in saying too, I’m pretty sure Disney had a set amount of money they’d donate each year in Coins for Change and the percentages of the donations in game for each 3 choices people chose would determine how much money went where.

The truth of club penguin is that everything in AS2 (artstyle2) had soul. Everything in AS3 was the Disney antichrist. I can count on my hand the number of barely decent parties from 2013-2017. Meanwhile from 2006-2011 it was constant banger after banger with more and more creativity as the years went on. 2012 was a transitional year where they started changing the artstyle of many rooms but it still had a few bangers like operation blackout.
