What happened to Roblox Tycoons? Being popularized from 2016-2017, this genre of games has been overshadowed by Simulator games for years. What were the games like back then? What are the games like now? Have Tycoons completely died out? Today we'll answer those questions, all in this video. Enjoy!

Roblox is an online game platform and game creation system developed by Roblox Corporation that allows users to program games and play games created by other users. Created by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel in 2004 and released in 2006, the platform hosts user-created games of multiple genres coded in the programming language Lua.

Ive had this headcannon for years That, any npc of my roblox character i see in games. Actually came from clone tycoon 2, and had escaped into the rest of roblox. I just think its a fun bit of personal lore.

Fun fact: there’s a game related to miners haven called “mechanical ascension X” Which is basically miners haven but with a lil more stuff and a lil more better modeling for droppers, upgrades, etc

One of my favorite tycoons is Ore Tycoon 2, it's basically dead but it's still a good game and has a lot of cool features and is just fun.

in reality, tycoons generally started to become truly popularized around the early 2010's, not 2016-2017, i still remember tycoon games actually being quite popular back in 2013-2014 or so, if not earlier.

I'm currently working on a tycoon where you will be able to customize robots and mechs with weapons from a shop. The main goal is to claim the middle, and I will also add a dungeon system and side challenges. Any suggestions to add to the game.

there is this one AMAZING roblox tycoon called Tycoon Incremental which is basically a tycoon game made into a incremental game and it is amazing its so unique and there isnt basically that much gamepass yes go play it noW!!!

I wanna create tower defence tycoon even tho it makes no sense but basically you buy towers from the shop (there is 100 to be exact) for money from the modes you beat but the tycoon? Well you simply upgrade the money per round;Hp;starting money etc. Oh and most of these towers from the shop are taken from tds tb(battles) tb(blitz) tdc and the rest is Custom made

If you like Miner's Haven, I *STRONGLY* recommend Miner's Haven Mod and Mechanical Ascension X. They are both extremely good games with the same type of customisation

one of the devs (if not the main one) is a petty manchild who will straight up try to hack you if you dare mock his army of lapdogs, its not worth playing. productive industries is much more of an interesting tycoon than it in reality, and its WAY deeper in the long term.
