I think new wave had a down fall coz soundcloud does not really pay. So when they went to platforms like iTunes and Spotify they started competing with bigger artists like Nasty C and Casper. To sum it up they became to big for the new wave scean, but not big enough for the mainstream scean

Fair point but remember that these artists had enough backing for them, if their music had been better more people would have came around to support them. Big hash & Jmolley are a good example of that

Bro so true...like all theses guys fell off hard. I'm also so disappointed in Malachi and Elizee too. They were the last of the dying breed. I also hate how Malachi and Elizee both switched up their sound just to sound more commercial.
