Part of the reason The STUDIOS are no longer GOLDEN, is because with mergers taking place, people taking over had NO EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT MAKING MOVIES ! They ran the Studios like Insurance companies. One of the last movie studios to still run it like a family was WARNER BROS. when Bob Daily was still President. When he died, it ALL CHANGED ! EVERYONE LOVED WORKING THERE AND LOVED HIM. You can't say that anymore! Too bad they ruined the Studios and the business.

You did a swell job condensing decades into six minutes, and the narration is gorgeous .❤❤❤

This is a great channel I just found. I saw some of your videos of bringing photos back to life. Intriguing. I was wondering if you ever had done one on (Gibson Girl) Evelyn Nesbit or Audrey Munson? These were two “supermodels” of their time.

Maybe Chaplin was right : the sound , in his speech, started the beginning of cinema fall. However himself overcame his own Challenges and created jewels later on... But nothing compares to the Magic of Black and White big screen 🤩🤩🤩...

History is repeating itself, so as the 1950’s and 60’s by people watching stuff on television, so as it is in today’s world, amazing.

In my opinion, movies once focused on higher character. Highlighting courage, determination and the complexities of human relationships. Great stories where you feel the life lessons within. Now, it's just focused on baser behaviors and sex. Back then we knew the movie was for entertainment. Now too many in the arts are constantly threatened by what is perceived as offensive and create trash or change classics into woke garbage.

Why do you show stills of Boyz N The Hood (1991) while talking about 1920s era? Why do you show stills of Heat (1995) mentioning the 40s?? I do not get it…

Thank you for posting this video, very enjoyable. Hollywood and movies? I stopped watching most made after the year 2000. Not all, just most. To me the actors and actresses of the Golden Age of Hollywood had much more class, and the movie usually had a good script with a story to tell.

Thanks for this informative video. The best way I have found to explore the movies of the golden age, is to focus on a particular actor. You will often discover movies and other materials you did not know existed.

The system is too rigid with no freedom for actors.
Award shows, like the Oscars, used to be a much anticipated event. Now they’re virtue signalling freak shows. Very few movies are original and innovative. It’s all remakes, reboots or concentrating on political messages than telling a good story.

The most annoying thing about Hollywood is the very same actors who think can lecture the common people. No they don’t and shouldn’t say a word about it.
