Just like any rap movement it’s bound to fall eventually only a select few will make it and keep it consistent but the movement will fall wayside only Fivio Foreign, A-Boogie, Sheff G & Lil Tjay made it to the mainstream, Pop Smoke was there but he died and Kay Flock could’ve made it but got locked. 22Gz, Bizzy Banks, Dthang Gz all had success but I doubt any of them will go further than they are now.

At least the Drill movements in other Countries (like the UK) produced drill songs that hit no.1 on the charts in those countries. I thought it was a shame we couldn't get a NY Drill song topping the BBH100, it would've been a big moment for the culture and provided a lot of momentum.

Jazz in Harlem during 1930s was inspired by jazz and blues music from Memphis and New Orleans, u could argue the same thing with punk in the 60s and 70s. Even the og hiphoppers would sample records by southern artist. Influence and inspiration always bounces off one and other
