The guys have got this completely the wrong way around. It's easy to make those decisions when you've a trophy room of silverware because people will look at that and say, "He's got the receipts". That's where a successful manager can be made, if they have the self belief to stay true to their philosophy from the start. It's easy to forget that SAF also had to build himself up from no trophies. Winning first in Scotland, moving to England and then rebuilding from there. It's the fact he had those principles from the start that made him a winner. It's why I think Arteta has promise, as he has shown that streak and it's why I think Ten Hag in time can also be a success as he is showing it as well.
