Hey D1/Master adc main here Im playing a lot of kog nowadays so i wanted to share my opinion about this video But beforehand id like to add dat i watch your vids all the time, they provided me with a lot of great information before So my thoughts on this build In my opinion hurricane as a core item is really a bait.. I know, I know it synergises well with kog but the item itself is pretty weak. The only good part about the item is its passive but it is quite underwelming. Id recommend swapping the hurricane as a core item with Terminus. Why? In my opinion hurricane is just a situational item. The effect excels against diving and melee grouping enemies. All it does is let u hit multiple enemies at once, but the hurricane bolts are not so strong. Compared to the effects of Terminus, witsend hurricanes passive is just lacking in the usefulness category. Terminus is THE core item the kog needs. IT IS EXCELLENT FOR KOG. It gives all the stats kog needs. Lot of AS decent AD with the current Ult AD ratio buffs and the effect was literally designed for kog. It will give u Armorpen and Magicpen for a champion that does mixed dmg. It will also provide Armor and Magic resist which is really helpful for kogmaws surviveability. I'd argue it is even higher value the a bork for kog. I've found myself in games where i skipped bork and my 1st 3 items were rageblade, terminus witsend because the enemy didnt have any tanks. The resist shredding works great against both tanks and squishys, while bork works well mostly against tanks with %health dmg passive in bork. While bork is a really good item kog already has %health dmg dat can get blocked with resistances. Bork in itself doesnt work well against high resistances but with terminus passive plus kog Q resist shred its like doing mixed %health dmg against No resistances. Almost like you're doing true dmg to anyone. In my opinion terminus is a core item while hurricane is just situational. I've tried hurricane many times and found myself lacking dmg on item spikes. Ever since i skip hurricane my dmg is always fenomenal. I also think that more than 1 defensive item is a waste. With these runes (im also using the exact same runes btw) and semi-defensive items such as witsend, terminus i think 1 defensive item as a last item is just more then enough. I'd recommend rageblade terminus as a core item choice and the 3rd item either bork or witsend depending on enemy matchups. If the enemy has only 1 tanks/bruiser u can even skip bork for 4th item or completly. If u find urself against heavy AP dmg in enemy then 3rd item witsend than 4th item PD (helps greatly with dodging skillshots with the ms) which allows u to pump out insane amount of auto-attacks in a short time before dodges (it gives you an insane 65% AS!!!) and against squishes that is quite lethal espacially if u have the applies terminus resistance shred with even a kogmaw Q hit. U could even kill assassins faster then they kill u. And as a last item id reccomend a defensive item yes. Probably a Jaksho or a randuin. In my opinion if someone wants to become a good adc they should avoid going for overly defensive builds. The role itself is all about dps and I found myself getting way too comfortable playing with defensive builds on different champs the past metas. The problem with it is it makes you get away with fundemental basics mistakes. As an ADC u should learn spacing and positioning so u can pump out as much dmg as possible while staying safe. The first time randuin vayne became a meta years ago it made me do mistkes because i became quite lazy about my spacing. You only need as much defense as necessary to survive an assassin jumping on you / flashing on you. You will lose most of your hp yes, but with enough dmg and you can kill him before he kills you and then provide cruical dps for your team in the fight. TL;DR avoid going overly defensive builds, u need to pump out dmg and show the world your dodging and spacing skills as a giga chad adc player you are! Peace

i like to get pickaxe first so i can last hit minions under tower reliably, E and Q are good for last hitting while far away from the wave if you need to play safe

I've been having success with building rageblade 1st. The powerspike from it feels so strong. Better then blade of the ruin king, and it's also 100 gold cheaper than botrk.

I dont know but HAIL OF BLADES Kogmaw with Kraken and CRIT items works like crazy.Does a lot of dmg in lane and late.

Does this mean we'll get videos of MFDB playing Kog? I don't think I've seen a Kog game since I've began following back in 2021

Wouldn't Last Stand also amplify Kog's Passive 100% (well, the full 11%) since he has 0 HP?

I was playing against kogmaw yesterday as mf and I felt like there was nothing I could do

riot gives this champ 1 buff every 2 year. I remember kog getting a buff back in s12 and he was giga broken for 2 weeks until he got nerfed. In my opinion that champ should just stay in the gutter for forever.
