I have attended a few in my city. Yes I talked to kids that had questions and told them what it's like to be a artist in general. The most beneficial part of going is networking with other business owners that are local to your area. I've gained some great clients and also referrals from people I've met at a Career Day.

We tattoo inner forearms, outer forearms, inner biceps, outer biceps, triceps, calves, and quads. We’re qualifying additional body parts as well. We use test dots to understand skin variability across the tattoo region. We place the ink precisely at the epidermis/dermis junction to maximize longevity.

Putting tattoo artists in the same boat as an electrician who serves their community with a necessity like electricity and makes a tattoo artists life possible isn't the same imo

A tattoo is a luxury and definitely not something that serves a community but it's definitely not a hobby. It's a craft you have to dedicate a lot of time and effort to excel at it.

Hi guys! For the robot tattoo machine, my opinion is that it will need a LOOOOOT of imrovements on the robotic and sensors side to make it a profitable business. What we should look for is how advanced the medical/surgical robots are. Cause the technology will come from there. And 5k for a tattoo that won't last: that's a reap off!!!! For the critique side of the podcast: just willing to critique others' work is taking the higher risk to get critiqued yourselves, but then people will only critique your opinions, not your work, which makes it much more annoying, i guess! People submitting their work are pretty brave cause nobody likes to get told what's wrong, but it shapes your ego and it helps a lot to grow as a person and/or an artist. And the insta post you made on youngsters opening shops or private studios created some heat, i reckon!!!! Cheers guys take care

Compare technology from just 20 years ago to today... Tech and innovation is moving at an astonishing rate and with the AI revelation, it'll only be a matter of time before those kinks are worked out... Folks used to say that machines couldn't take their jobs in the automotive production side of things and then you saw them all lose their jobs by the following decade essentially (70s)

As a tattooer; You'll work until the day you can no longer do it. There is no retirement. Best case scenario after fifty is you have a parlor/studio and making a percentage off other tattooers. Save and invest your money in other industries. °°° The robot has a laser guide that detects shape. *IMO* In ten years it will put 50% of tattooers out of business.

It'll happen at some point and the days of a tattoo artist demanding a fortune for their work is over... Same goes with AI Models taking over and saving these companies $$$. If someone can save $200 by using a robot then they'll do it and its bye bye people doing it
