Too bad criminals will find a way to break open the food robot.

The locations, time and video of the thefts would be recorded and transmitted and as thieves repeat what worked for them in the past, the police can work out their patterns and "territory" and catch them more easily. There's even AI software that can schedule police to be in the areas where and when crimes are most likely to occur though privacy and profiling concerns are being raised over those AI software but the software have proven to be effective (again mostly because thieves repeat their crimes). Also, it's possible that both food and parcel delivery would be integrated into larger more secure autonomous taxi's, perhaps delivering to secured lockers at the side of the road or to a delivery system within an apartment building.

Well when people don't want to work and they want to complain the whole time that they think they should get paid a lot more than what they should or they work a minute aways job and it takes no skill to work it and they want the amount of money that jobs that require some actual skill. That's what they pay their employees well when all that happens. Guess what businesses are going to figure out a way to keep their businesses going. People don't want to work. They are replaceable. So for the new generation, this is what happens when you think that your b**** is going to get you somewhere

That's exactly why they were made. These people want to complain and keep complaining well. Everybody told them they're going to get replaced by robots and I guess they didn't believe them but look what's happening exactly what they deserve. Oh no, they might have to get a real job now

If you are experiencing a labor shortage we have solutions that are ready, willing, and able to go to work today. They don't need insurance, smoke breaks, or call off sick. And most importantly they don't demand $15 or more per hour for minimum wage labor.

@@jeepliberty1388 no it won't be funny but that does not mean that they were wrong in demanding $15+ an hour. Robotics cannot be cheaper and will surely take many $15 per hour wages to pay off. It is the injustice of expecting people who have to put food on the table for their own families have to do it with a below cost of living wage for years! I will not give any restaurant my patronage that uses robots or AI. The ambience of a restaurant is important and humans who serve with a smile, and a chit chat gives it atmosphere and warmth. But then, what do millennials know about that? Seeing that they sit in restaurants across each other looking at their devices? That is sad! At my age,vI see a lot of sad things that technology has brought to the human race ... Those playing "god" are very happy.

@@ARenewedmind most of these robotics companies use subscription based business model. Meaning, on the low end it costs around $3,000 and up per robot per month to maintain and most are capable of producing at least 50% more and efficiently per employee. Some of these businesses have chosen to go with the co-op business models, creating not just employees but entrepreneurs that will be able to compete in the near future fast-food market. Think of all the school programs and projects that can be implemented with these types of businesses.

Lol!!! what’s crazy is the tech. is pretty good, and fascinating! Yet; besides taking jobs from many.... I can’t figure out how those same “cost saving” robots will contribute to a capitalistic society!? I mean... they may be good for a business owners bottom line... until there aren’t enough human customers to buy the products! I’m confused🤔🤭😬

Dude people who make those robots will get jobs. Living standards will rise.
@vshah1010
@vshah1010 3 ай бұрын
@@kadiyamsrikar9565 It will be mostly assembly jobs. And, it will be low skilled work. Some assembly work may be easy pace, but some of it can be at a stressful pace. It depends on what part of the product they are working on and other factors. Quite often is is at a fast pace, precision, and uncomfortable. Living standards will not rise. Maybe workers have a chance for better pay and benefits if there is a union on the manufacturing floor. For skilled techs and engineers (probably working as techs), a union doesn't allow you to do someone else's job because you would be "taking away someone else's job". So, if a tech needs to solder they have to hand it over to a production worker, and wait for that board to come back. Even Engineers (who are non-union employees) have to follow this rule of not taking away a production worker's job. So being part of a union will hold back skilled people, such as people with degrees that end up in the manufacturing department. Technicians won't be real component level (or higher) techs. It will usually be Test Technicians. Usually test techs will be low skilled also. Don't expect your job title of "robotics technician" to be highly skilled. See Amazon video. Those "robotic technicians" worked in other low skilled jobs. One worker even came from a restaurant. They will require a degree for the test tech job, but you won't use it. Most people with degrees will get low level test tech or other low level jobs. It is common to rename lower level jobs as "engineer" or technician. Just adding these words to your job title doesn't make the job more skilled. To get into Engineering up to design, will be very competitive, and hard to get even with a degree. Promotions are rare, and they often put a person outside of the company ahead of you for the higher level job you wanted. There are only a small few people that do the design. It may be one person. I have seen that this is what happens in tech companies.
