THe thing about thug having very low sales is that he unfortunately for him landed in a very inbetween/grey area for album sales. At the time the music industry was only counting physical copy sales and songs that were digitally bought. This was the case up until the subscription services like apple, spotify, and even youtube. Now x amount of streams can equate to a 'sale,' whereas previously that didnt exist. If thug tapes from then dropped today, he wouldve been in the 70-100k range for sure.

Youngthug numbers was always low because he released the mixtape,2days later he would delete and re upload with better mixes or a new feature and do that again..so he never got high numbers..like beautiful thugger girls i have three versions that was reuploaded that first week..If he never did that he would be getting 100k sales...He was the only artist who dint care about numbers actually..even "so much fun"album got deleted n re-uploaded

i KNOW 100% Thugs Innocent i'm telling you i didn't even hear his music up until these Rico charges came and live been researching so much countless hours a day these last 3 weeks! I have learned a lot and heard from his recent baby mama's ya'll need to check it out she has everything stated clearly and i'm gunna tell you he's being set up by all these ass$$$$S that used him like crazy to get record deals and he helped so many of these FAKE F***S ! & you know what it's exactly what happened... They all had crimes and charges of their own pending charges 😮 & let me tell you something all these plea deals were just to get out of jail and put them all on YSL ! To make it look like a gang rather than a independent business and it's sickening what they're doing to him is very sad! & that pill handed to him in court wasn't Percocet it was tested and turned out to be FENTANYL trying to kill him ! & now they are in his house his own sister and brother on the witness list and NOW IN HIS HOME where only his mother & his children were supposed to be! Now they are posting all over youtube which his baby mama had also posted these pukes wearing all his diamonds and gold? it's disgusting 😢 also his health is in major danger and they won't take him to the hospital he has pneumonia and a lung infection and has lost weight had food poising 2 times already and also is major skinny they're nearly trying to kill him. & you just said you believe these lies! aWow buddy no he wouldn't give up millions to be "the big head guy" wow wow wow try that's what they've twisted to make it look like it's sad y'all can't see this! been a fan of Thug for a bit like everyone else here, sadly never had the money to go see shows or anything but always loved the music. Sadly no one knows bout the shit 300 was doing to artists that didn't get enough album sales, thug had talked about it before, he has people in studios to watch everything about his song and it got so bad he was recording in his attic. He was threatened by the label after the new owner came on. He never wanted to "sell his soul" but he was unlucky in who he picked. He's had to scrap entire projects, remake Punk 15 times, and on Metrospider had to redo pretty much the whole song cuz Metro wasn't fuckin with his first flow and delivery. At one point he crossed the line and was slammed with an unethical case. He's been manipulated and controlled for years and won't leave because it's making his YSL members rich and that's all he cared for. I hate that I think bout my favorite rapper and get depressed.

Thug hasn’t topped his old music before 2016. i see lil baby being in the same boat, his later stuff won’t get better than his old stuff. Future had a second stint that’s why i think he’s more influential than thug as far as southern rappers.
