A lot of people go their whole lives without addressing their anxiety, pretending like nothing's wrong while continuously dodging it. It won't be like that in the future when mental health is well understood.

I've found anxiety to be in essence the fight-flight-or-freeze survival response operating wrongly. In other words, the things that are absolutely necessary for our survival (food, clean water, shelter, community) get a back seat to rogue thoughts that convince us that other things are more important, like thoughts of "what will happen to me if I don't accomplish this" "what if people don't like what I say" or "what if I die alone" etc. What's helped me get rid of those rogue negative thoughts is CBT and mindfulness and journaling the thoughts, because they are not necessary for my survival. The book "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels helped me learn mindfulness techniques but there are many lessons out there I'm sure. It's important to deprogram the mind so it's not anxious over thoughts that don't really matter.

For me, the source of anxiety is the different routine or life changing event. And the most, I can't, is losing companion and don't have anyone to listen to like them being talkative in a good way. Partly because of environmental and circle. My brain seems anxious. Before I like listening to music. Now I have to talk more to myself because there's no real life humans voices that can energised the brain. Oxytocin gone maybbeee helpppp.
