This is a reading of Picatrix Book 3, Chapter 6 which pertains to the Hermetic/pseudo-Aristotelian concept of the “Perfect Nature” which is a kind of illumination experienced by the perfected sage at the summit of all learning in both the sciences and in philosophy - in other words, the knowledge of and conversation with one's higher genius. The passage draws on texts from the pseudo-Aristotelian Hermetica and describes a peculiar magical incubation ritual followed by another invocation ritual and a communal feast, with some speculations on what exactly is Perfect Nature and how it connects to the science of astral magic.

Hello. My name is Valentine Mabuza, im from south Africa and i come from an line of shamans and traditional healers though i am not one myself. i studied the journals they left behind to the best of my abilities but my knowledge in these matters is quit limited seeing as i'm a musician by profession. Not quite sure how I missed these older videos on Picatrix 😭?? Divine timing perhaps, pun intended. Either way, I am overjoyed! This video in particular provided me with a puzzle piece that I feel is going to help me in a very personal way. ❤

Glad you're enjoying the back catalogue and finding it useful. This part of the Picatrix is so important to the overall text and it's usually difficult to pick out points of emphasis since the text is so hodge-podge.

The stars are the affirmation of the souls descent and navigation from perfection into materialisation, and the Planets by intermediation govern individualisation of this descent into separation, and by order or way of the capitulation of imagination to be the emergence of vision as pure thought as reason or realisation; which is the true process of initiation, and is the unification and consecration of all oppositions into universal order and harmonisation, which is the process of enlightenment and the finalisation of the soul into illumination.

It’s important to know what spirit you are calling and Perfect Nature sounds to vague what is the other name for the spirits and what do the four names mean in English? I Are these spirits of the high God.? I’d have to ask a lot more questions before I would partake in conjuring anything. How do you cut yourself off from all senses? by going into a dark hole is that the way. I know some Shamans go into sweat lodges . A lot is missing as far as the operation. .

@@SebastianW458 the moon cycles through the ecliptic roughly every 28 days. Aries 1° is on June 13, July 11, August 8, etc. The container of oil in the north use the sesame oil mentioned earlier. Nut oil can be simply walnut oil. Happy conjuring!

The garbled Latin is Aztimehec, but the actual text is the kitab al Istimakhis, one of a handful of texts called pseudo Aristotelian hermetica.
