Back in April Pecky headed deep into France to fish the extremely wild and famous River Lot. Having struggled the previous year on the River Seine he sought some expert advice from a local boat rental company ‘alotofcarp’. Now armed with some expert local knowledge and a 23-foot purpose built carp fishing boat he’s now properly kitted out for an all out fishing adventure.
Make no mistake, Pecky is no river fishing expert, and in this film you can join him on the steep learning curve that follows as he adapts to a what is a completely different angling environment. Part one of two sees Darrell get to grips with the elastic band trick which allows him fish across the main flow and away from the numerous underwater obstacles.
