This is not Disney, and animation art is well and alive, what you're referring to is (hand-drawn) 2D animation, which won't be back unless we show that there's a demand for it that justifies the much higher expense of production. If they make more money churning out 10 mediocre 3d movies in the time it would take to make one 2d movie, capitalism will dictate that 2d on the big screen is indeed dead. But hey for now we still have Ghibli f.e. 😊

I’m now realizing that’s it’s super smooth not because of ai enhancing it or they animated it in 30-60 fps. But they animated it in 24fps on one’s instead of on two’s.
