Perfectly said Christy! Always makes for a happy day when your parents are on the vlog! Did they have matching shirts on during the Salt Lake City tour vlog? So cute if they did! And that was a great tour!

Yes! I agree. Enjoy when they are in your videos. Thanks for sharing this. I’ve never been to Utah. Was only out west once when I was 9- went to Yellowstone , Wisconsin , north and South Dakota, and a few others.

Thank you for exploring Utah. I moved here almost 4 years ago, have yet to explore. First experienced an earthquake, then was in isolation for 18 months and now gas prices have gone through the roof. On a fixed income hard to justify exploration. Maybe next year… Thank you for sharing.😊

I was just in Moab 9 months ago. My dad had passed away when we made the trip to drive my brother to Salt Lake City. He made a flight back to Texas to make a quick trip and was planning on heading right back to us after one weekend while we were still hanging around Park City exploring around. Utah will forever be a place of pain and wholesome beauty at the same time. I did visit Arches National Park back last September too. Nothing like it. Will definitely be headed back there at some point to put some bad memories to rest and get some more closure. Hope you enjoy your time there

Hey Adam! It has been so fun watching what highlights and interest you find in my home state and neighboring areas! My father-in-law was a rail master and foreman on that section of railroad you filmed. He worked there when a town called Thistle flooded in the 80’s from a massive landslide you can see the slide and some abandoned houses from the highway. Moab is a place I love to visit often, I hope you and your parents have an absolutely amazing time! Take care!

Hey Mr. Adam well the smaller yellow flowers were coreopsis, the pink was Mexican primrose. Where the train was is called a Round House. There is a real one (no longer in use) in Como, Colorado. Very cool. Lots of movies filmed in Colorado. Every Which Way But Loose, Perry Mason, Centennial, A Christmas Gift just to name a few. Hope to see you come here sometime.

We really enjoyed your mom's tour of the flowers and Dad interjecting the petunias comment🙂. If you squeeze the sides of a snapdragon flower, the blossom will open up and look like the mouth of a dragon. That was a crazy amount of sheep! You found so many neat sights for this video and we appreciate it 🙂

So true about the snapdragons. My mom always had them in her garden and when I was very little she taught me how to GENTLY make the flower's mouth open! (She said I mustn't put my finger in it's mouth or it would bite me!)

As always, thanks for the road trip Adam! Love your parents. I love all the old cars and trucks you'll see out west. With the low humidity the cars do not rust like they do elsewhere. If you head south you'll go through Monticello a wonderful little town and Blanding on your way to the 4 corners. There is soooo much to do and see where you are. I lived in Monticello, UT for 2 years and I affectionately refer to it as "Mayberry". Wonderful people!

I grew up in Spanish Fork from about age 14 to 23. My Jr high is right across from that lighthouse. Those wind turbines in that canyon were featured in the movie 127 hours for a montage. I haven't been to Moab in a long time, but just got home from camping in Bryce canyon with my wife and daughter. Fun video! Also, the museum of ancient life at Thanksgiving point in Lehi, along I-15 on way to SLC, is worth a visit. My father in law is responsible for its creation, and my wife and I worked there, preparing fossils, for a while. He's a paleontologist.

Travel vlogs with the parents! I could have sworn you were waiting for your mom to mention petunias when you asked about the flowers lol! That is so much fun & you are a wonderful son for always taking time to spend with your adorable mom & dad. Having lived the flatland of south Texas I love the landscape of Utah & also Colorado. Safe travels to y’all! I think the metal thingy hanging on that billboard is an old metal gurney or stretcher used to transport people in an accident in the mountains.

I think the metal object at the very end of video is a wooden bucket protector that would take the impacts of the rocks and cliffs as you hoist the bucket of water to an elevated area where you are camped.
