I got tired of the narrative that Barcelona robbed Chelsea in the 2009 UCL semi final. So I decided to rewatch the highlights, go through every "controversial" call and analyze it. And the more of the video you watch, the more you realize certain fanbases have made a bigger deal out of this game than what it was. I hope you guys enjoy the video!

ok,ok. lets get this clear. looking at the game, you can see that both of the teams got robbed.the red card on barca and chelsea's "robbery". so it was basically the ref's HORRIBLE DESECIONS. so it was the ref's fault

Not only did we deserve to win, but that 1st leg should NEVER have been a draw, as the refereeing was 10 times worse at the Camp Nou. We should’ve been like 3-0 up on aggregate before even coming to Stamford Bridge.

@@ripvanwinkle91 stop it with the "what about suarez dive?" bs It happened in a last 16 match and barca was knocked out immediately in the next round. Meanwhile in 2018 kroos dived vs psg & vasquez dived vs juve. Each penalty meant the ko for their opponent and real won the ucl too that year.

Ballack wasnt a pen because he tries to clear it and it hits his hand. The first foul on drogba in the box is a pen. The defender cuts him off by putting his leg in front of drogba. And the last shot is a pen bc it hits his tricep. Although barca had the undeserved red card chelsea deserved at least 1 penalty

Yes you are right. But barca were completely robbed during the 1st leg and ballack would have been suspended. They deserved 2, mabye 3 of penalties 2 of which happened post red card. If barca has gone up 3-0 in the first leg who knows what would have happened in the second leg but i would bet money 2009 barca would be able to keep a 3-0 lead.

@@Dale8918 so if it hits 1% of the arm is it still a handball?? If it hits the shoulder but a small part of the ball hits the arm is it still a handball?? I don't think we are eligible to judge such a situation where its not a clear handball. It doesn't make sense to make that decision based of it hitting a very small percentage of the arm, since it's not a full on hit on the arm.

Real Madrid fans are so annoying.. 1. Almost all of them have 0 ball knowledge 2. When they lose an argument? 14 ucl 3. When the referee clearly favors them? Talk about barca 4. Some of them blame refs for losses even though they are Madrid So many more reasons but I have to go
