yeah that boy Casey was feeling that transition. I heard this performance when I was just getting into Robert Glasper and I nearly crapped myself when I heard that mood shift from 5:54-5:58...Lord have mercy I was like whaaaaaaat? what Derrick was doing, What Robert was doing, How Chris Caught on! You're right! Robert was initially supposed to start butterfly and then they had entered some kind of mood and he was like nahh nevermind let's keep going!
