Donald Holder is an American lighting designer in theatre, opera, and dance based in New York. He has been nominated for eleven Tony Awards, winning the 1998 Tony Award for Best Lighting Design as well as the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Lighting Design for The Lion King.

Lighting Designer who can’t stay in his light. Ironic

Way too broad. I’m 10 minutes in and all I’ve learned in regards to theater lighting is a slow enough fade can go unnoticed by the audience. But even that he had to tell the audience to watch, which was agonizing, and the whole point is they shouldn’t even notice it.
