Even at times able to do some good for the people by employing some tactics of the upper house, yet this is not the norm. But why? Because intelligentsia isn't focused on being ones own master but being in proximity and a possible seat at the table in the upper house. Sounds like two methodologies attempting to solve the same problems. From what I read Booker T felt that education in trades was most important which made the white establishment comfortable. Which is why most black schools were trade schools. DuBoise, felt that higher education in more professional schools as dentistry, medicine, law, etc. a more liberal arts education which whites were more opposed to this type of education for blacks. I guess we live in a day and age where people are quick to judge without taking time to get to understand things. I've never agreed with the "10%" belief but I do admire the willingness to create spaces for successful black people just as much as I appreciate spaces that are created for the average person. If you haven't read it, it's a worthy read. I share a lot of the same values as so called "boule" do.
