No doubt, I’m 40 and this era of music I grew up listening to. I just can’t stand none of the new stuff. It will always be Rolling Stones! My uncle and I saw them before he passed away, it truly was a beautiful time in Charlotte

I'm 13 and I absolutely love 60s-80s songs so much, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, T. Rex, The who, Beach boys, The Zombies, Guns N' Roses, ACDC, and I love to hear all the people who were around then talk about their great music taste!!!

You're absolutely right ! And it's incredibly refreshing to see young people like you appreciating real quality in music. Most of the music young people listen to these days is simply very mediocre, often vulgar, and devoid of any real creativity. Of course, I'm much older than you are, and you might think that what I'm saying is simply nostalgia for my youth, but no, not at all: true musical talent isn't linked to an era, it's linked to the genius of composers, musicians and performers, which stands the test of time. 🙂

True story. My daughter was born in 1988. At that time I had just got a job as Keef in a Rolling Stones tribute band. Had to learn a lot of songs in a short period of time. I still have that job. I think I've played Satisfaction more often than Keith... When my daughter was born I was on tour East Coast Canada. I was in Yarmouth when she was born. Bills needed to be paid, so sacrifices. Got home and the first songs I heard with my baby girl on my lap was End Of The Innocence and Fool To Cry. Now I am a grandfather. Forgive me - I am balling my eyes out. I have played this song for over 30 years. I will never get tired of it. God bless. Thank you.

This song is about people who have so many good things but they ignore what is most important because of their sorrow. If you have family, friends and a nice woman... You have much more than most. Me 60 as well I loved these lads since I was a kid mainly because mum hated them ... Little red rooster was the first I could remember, Seen them live 3 times , the first time in 1982 Wembley my eyes couldn’t take in what I was seeing...they were actually real I shivered, they gave a brilliant show may they keep going.

This song should be dedicated to our FOUNDING FATHERS as they are the daddies who are so heart-broken as they see all these evil commies try to tear down the constitution as well as the Declaration of Independence! Daddy Trump is not a fool to cry but he would be if that's all he did...there is a time to cry and a time to kick serious ass!...he is a daddy that gets stuff done! Trump 2020! And yes, even the good govt needs to learn more about how the founding daddies did it so we don't keep repeating the mistakes of history! I mean all this w/ half affection and half sarcasm/ facetiousness.

Remember turning this up loud on my transistor radio while doing my newspaper round in the early hours sometime in the mid-70s in the southeast suburbs of Melbourne Austalia. The next day, my boss told me people had complained that my radio was too loud. The next day, it came on 3XY again while doing my paper round -- I turned it up to 10.
