Weird charisma, yes.....but every moment he's onscreen is somehow fascinating, because you never know what the hell he will do or say next (except for "Oh, hi...." to whoever else is there...). If Darth Vader had ever had a chance to listen seriously to what Tommy Wiseau has to say about "life", he'd never have blown up a single planet, and the galaxy would be a better place.

Yes I’m going to comment on a video that’s two years old because I’m just now discovering it and the channel. Here’s some Room trivia in case you have not heard it in the two years since you watched it that will make you cry or laugh more! 1: They reused the sex scenes because the actress was super uncomfortable with Tommy and refused to film a second one. Tommy told her he would cut the second one since they didn’t have enough footage. Then he decided to splice in the previous footage and add it In without telling her. The actress didn’t know until the primer and walked out when the second scene came on. 2. Tommy hates the French and the French language and will go into a fit of rage if anything remotely France is brought up. For this reason in the entire movie the word fiancé is never used and they refer to each other as future wife/husband.

The sound Tommy makes when he's calling people chicken is a more Eastern European onomatopeia for the sound they make. So while it's pretty unclear where he's from, folks believe that he's from around Poland.

The drug dealer guy with the gun on the rooftop was by far the best actual actor in this movie. Like, seriously, I'm pretty sure he's the only professional involved in this. XD

When I show this to friends I always tell them this isn’t a movie you watch but experience. You can’t go in expecting a coherent narrative or any semblance of a traditional movie structure. All you can to is sit back and experience the scenes for what they are… insanity.

Have to thank you guys. I've always wondered about this movie (just how bad it is supposed to be). Now I think I have a pretty good idea, just by watching the bits with you. Feels like I've watched it all without going thorugh the pain of "actually watching" it.

First time you see the room you're like what the hell is this? Second time you see the room, you're like what the hell is this? & so on. Then you're like I don't know what this is, but I can't stop watching... Wiseau hypnotizes you with his Hollywood vampiric powers. If a lot of people love the room, the world would be a better place to live... The Room makes plan 9 from outer space look like Citizen Kane.

Your wife needs repeated viewings of "The Room" so she can appreciate just how much FUN it is to watch it OVER and OVER again! The delicious anticipation one feels as each bizarre scene approaches! I absolutely LOVE this movie, and I can honestly say I've gotten more enjoyment out of it through repeated viewings than any other movie I've ever seen. And why? Well, because Tommy Wiseau was utterly serious and sincere in his desire to make a deep and profoundly moving drama about the deepest human issues of love, trust, and betrayal....and although he failed utterly to do that, in both technical and artistic terms, his good intentions and sincerity shine through in every moment he's onscreen, and it makes the movie very enjoyable. He gave it everything he had! As for the rest of the cast, well, they clearly knew they were in a cinematic disaster...but they gave it their best shot anyway, despite the awful script. They soldiered through. And I can't fault them for that. Greg Sistero was a true friend to Tommy, and was there for him at all times, even in Tommy's moments of true despair (like during the movie's premiere), and they remain good friends to this day. There is something genuinely lovable about the whole project. And of course, it's one of the greatest unintentional comedies in history. I think it's safe to say that "The Room" will never be equaled, let alone surpassed in the realm of the "So bad it's good" movie category. Most bad films are just bad, period. But this one is some kind of masterpiece. And why? Because of the dream of just one strange but idealistic human being (or alien lifeform?)....Tommy Wiseau! Give that man a dozen red roses!!! And a couple for Greg Sistero too.
The Room (2003) Movie REACTION!! New worst movie ever!!
