2021 had some great ones, but 2022’s been good as well. Ukraine’s entry was fantastic, as was the UK’s, and Slovenia’s entry was criminally underrated. I loved the comic-strip MV.

Honestly not just a great dance song, but one that hit the zeitgeist so well and was an absolute celebration of it. The dances they did were purposefully weird, very much trying to not be about themselves. In an era where people had few outlets due to lockdowns, having a song that was just a celebration of embracing yourself, letting loose regardless of skill, talent or even having anyone around was such a wonderful breath of fresh air. Such a shame it didn't do better.

While I knew it wasn't going to win, I was shocked at how low a score the judges gave it. I was absolutely cheering for it to win, and I'm glad the public score knocked far closer to where it should have been. This and iceland were my underdog picks.

@@suntzu7727 Italy,Finland and Lithuania were my Top 3 tonight and I was really shocked when Lithuania and Finland got such bad jury votes...but I knew that they will get the highest tele votes Finland and Lithuania also deserve to be in the top 3 I just can't understand the jury like how can Switzerland and France be higher then Lithuania and Finland?! There were worlds between them. But I am still happy that they got many points from televotes 👏that is what they deserve!

@@romy7498 Same here, those were my top 3 too. Switzerland had absolutely nothing interesting! I can't understand how it got voted. France too, while better than Switzerland for me, was just another ballad. I can't understand what is there to spark ones interest in those songs. But France at least had a similar kind of votes both from the public and the juries. Switzerland was the real scandal, it was first by the juries but much, much lower with the people. And let's not forget Malta: 47 by the people, 208 by the juries. These guys ended up higher than Lithuania, while they shouldn't even be anywhere close.

I keep rewatching this performance just to remind myself that this was one of the most flawless performances of this Eurovision. It had great camera angles that didn’t just show what the stage and artists look like but added more character, the lead singer was great performer, you couldn’t even sense any problems with his voice and he still was dancing more than the background dancers. Their dance moves felt natural and genuine, the song was catchy and I loved the use of the unusual and risky Colour combo of yellow and purple which also made the performance more flawless because of the Colour theory. This certainly deserved a lot more points than it got. I think we will forever remember about this band on Eurovision even if they didn’t win, they will be fan favourites

Digga guck dir mal die deutsche Jury an, irgendwelche möchtegern Pseodo Experten mit Stock im Arsch. Die haben sich sogar noch bei der After Show Party über Italiens Schminke lustig gemacht, statt einfach Glückwunsch zu sagen. Die Juri ist einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäß.

Italian here, and I love this song. My personal favs, aside for Italy, are Lithuania, Ukraine and Finland.I was litterally delighted by the fact all these countries got huge support from home votes after the ambigous ones from the so called professional juries

In a way, they show body positivity that no matter the size of your body, you can still dance beautiful (at least thats what I take from here) Just also a brilliant way to start the competition!!

Music is nice, live performance ofc, they also included the crowd too, like talking to us and also giving us some dance moves to dance to their songs. That one hour was amazing for me 💜🖖💛 congratz to Italy btw, loved your song, catchy and literally my vibe 💚🤍❤

Even if it’s not my favourite song of this contest I have to admit I fell in love with the singer when they announced who the qualifiers are for the Grand Final and you could just see on his face how genuinely happy he was.. Me too, love that Italy won as I'm Italian. However, this was my 1st choice as the song that wins the Eurovision should be fun and quirky (quirky=unusual in an attractive and interesting way) like Waterloo for ABBA all those years ago. Well done Lithuania.

i just love lithuania's entry this year. it's very different from most of the other countries' performance, but the energy this song gives, despite not focusing almost at all on vocals, is just incredible. the coregraphy really helps a lot. it just goes to show that eurovision is not only about singing, but about making something memorable in 3 minutes. truly beautiful
