A very timely teaching from 1 John 2:15-17. The root of all temptation is in these 3 verses. As Believers in these times, we cannot afford to be trapped in the world's way of thinking. Pride and lust many times look different than we realize. We must be aware of how the enemy is tempting and deceiving us to be able to live right with God. "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world- the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life- is not from the Father but from the world. The world is passing away, along with its desires; but whoever does the will of God remains forever.…"
