Thank you for posting this Rosie! I was one of 4 sisters who called ourselves The Chub Scouts and we did the open announce. We joined you on stage to sing a little song and we were super nervous! Most of all, I am oh so glad Patrick Swayze was your guest that day. I got to meet him when he was on his way to his trailer, which was right next to ours. He gave me a sweet kiss on the cheek and autographed my shirt. We were also in the make-up trailer with the boys from 98°. What a day this was, nothing has ever topped it. This video is 25 years old this year and it's great finally finding all the episodes from your talk show. Thank you again for picking us as your Chub Club guests for the day. It's fun watching all your shows again, especially the ones I missed or forgot to set the DVR to record. 🎉

How cool! I love reading comments like this and glad you are doing well!

No joke; the chimp at the beginning reminds me of the Olsen Twins when they were young on "Full House." They'd be prompted to do comedy bits without knowing why, just like the chimp.

This was an amazing episode! Golfing with Mike Douglas, riding Spidey with Steven Spielberg, that applause for Patrick Swayze, and 98 Degrees. The Universal Studio remote is definitely one of the best series of Rosie episodes!

Now I remember the episodes where the chimp comes out first before Rosie does. Also, really love the part with both Rosie and Spielberg together! Can wait to re-watch the Disney World episodes from 2000!

Is there a long backlog on background checks? Are they effective? What are the ways around them? Is it more that 16 kids a day now. Poor Patrick :( I miss him. No way I would pick up a chimp! Rosie was very brave!

What do you mean what are the ways around them? Cause it seems many employees or vendors at shows simply don’t even care… later on, inevitably, we will hear the stories, or watch the tragic crime documentaries, explaining how a mentally unwell ex-convict (or someone else unfit to operate a firearm) has committed a heinous crime…lo and behold, they bought a gun at WalMart. Or at a show. Didn’t even receive a background check.

@@erikm8372 Sorry for not being clear. I, like you, was concerned that there might be loop holes, especially at gun shows.

This season was the point that I quit watching the show. It was nothing more than product placements from advertisers and kids stuff.
