I feel like I've been meeting more and more toxic players in Sky 😂 from the music griefers (those who spam music notes distracting you from playing a song) to the randos I meet at a chat table. The funniest toxic experience I had was when a player wanted to "teach me a phrase in Chinese" and they proceeded to say, "I am an idiot" and "I am a douchebag" in Chinese (probably trying to get me to say it). Didn't know they were so self-aware, because Sky has a translation feature now.

It's soo rare to find someone unfriendly in sky so this is actually shocking

"Get lost"???? Bruh, they were here first, find your own instrument. The song you were playing is very beautiful, btw.

It's people like that who make me wish we had a punch emote SJSKDJSKSJ or like, a way to straight up block strangers. That's literally the most important feature missing from this game

It's been months and I still think TGC should implement an option to mute other players (honking + instruments) so both of you could enjoy the space in peace

The fact that they harassed you for playing there and DIDNT EVEN WANT TO USE THAT GUITAR is the worst part for me 😤 if they wanted to play, they had to option of moving a few steps away. 🙄 they just didnt want to share the area DESIGNED FOR COLLABORATION. Sky definately needs a way to report acquaintances.

I'm honestly sorry you've encountered this, I genuinely don't understand why people simply do that. I have encountered this multiple times, maybe I was terrible at playing, I was simply practicing. But like seriously it's rude whenever someone purposely does that to make you stop.

Reminds me how I was playing, "Goodbye To A World" on the piano and two people came up to me. I was thinking maybe they'd sit down and listen to me play, but they started banging on the piano. I just kept playing dispite them trying to mess me up and eventually they left me alone because people who actually sat down to listen to my music "shushed" them away lol

that was honestly the most frustrating thing to watch ever. i hate it when you're simply minding your own business and then someone gets in the way of your fun. it's honestly best if you try to ignore these kinds of people because they crave and thrive for attention. i hope those players get dealt with soon enough for being incredibly rude to other players.

I've been through 2 similar cases. While I was playing the piano, they took out another instrument and bothered me, but only for a moment. The person you meet is really rude...

You know, I've been thinking about this for a while, but Sky *really* needs a "I would like to play alone right now" setting. I stopped playing a while back, but when I still played I would frequently be doing a quick candle run or getting my seasonal candles when someone on my friends list would teleport to me and want to drag me on a 20-60 minute adventure. There was this one person on my friends list who often turned on costume spells as soon as they got within range and I always felt awful telling them I was actually about to log off. The same friend also liked showing me cool glitches, but those were often very time consuming. Basically, no one benefited from this. My friend unintentionally wasted costume spells and I felt awful for them despite the whole situation being avoidable if I could hide my activity status. Not to meet stuff like the video where sometimes you want to play an instrument in an area other than the practice room without being bothered or bothering other people. Or if you want to explore without a veteran player deciding you're lost and need their help. Or if you want to practice flying somewhere without looking embarrassing in front of other players. Or if you want to test out some emotes. Without a doubt, the best parts of the game involve interacting with other players. It's great that older players can help newer ones and that players can go on fun adventures or share outfits or give each other piggyback rides. But there needs to be some room for privacy or else people *will* start stepping on each other's toes and get everyone involved upset.

When i played instrument on music shop someone also did that and even spam played the keys near me as they didn't want me playing😂

This made me so mad, I don't get how someone gets so far into a game so pure and act like this. The game literally teaches a sense of community and kindeness to make your way through and then some people decide to act like the worst. I love musician players, I love when I hear someone around playing music ♡ I'm sorry you encountered someone like that, luckily they are rare to find.

"Honey the chaos in a music store is what makes it a music store." It is an everyone accessible space so why do they think they have more of a right to it than others?? A performance isnt about a stage, or staking your homebase ground there. Its the impromptu performances and interactions with other people that joined in that make this beautiful too. But youre performing with them, not against them. This is bullying. It is fine to report em as well.

I remember someone tried doing this to me while I was in the music shop. they started spamming notes to try to make me leave but I kept on playing my song. They eventually left me alone seeing that they weren’t getting anywhere! XD rude people don’t deserve your attention 🤘

I had a friend who was very rude to me in sky for no reason. We were good at first but then he started to treat me like I'm a dumb and he was changing his face and speak tone when he was talking with others. So one day he changed his gender and unfortunately im forgetful, i was calling by his old name and he started to became more rude. One day he just tried to join me and thanks to server he couldn't join me for three times. After he came he started to say so many rude things. I just listened and in the middle of conversation, in front of his eyes i blocked him. He just stand for a while, I flew far away from him during he was following me. Then i changed server. (I wanted to do so many things but i kept myself too hard to not do it)Guys, don't spend your precious time with kind of these people. Spend your time with your lovely friends

The other day I was practicing my harp at home and somebody came up and did the no emote with the big red X. I figured okay, I'll move to the other side of home. They followed me over. Then I thought maybe home wasn't a great place to practice - I'll head to the wind paths and pick an isolated spot to practice. THEY FOLLOWED ME! So I went past the candle wall in forest and headed toward the wind tunnel, then when the person jumped in, I turned around and went to the treehouse. I hope I never see them again.

Actually, that’s a good idea to turn off everything but instrument audio… I try to practice but the honking is annoying sometimes. Sometimes my camera is pointed to wall by accident and I don’t see other player(s). Also. That person had the guitar. Why couldn’t they go elsewhere or teleport Home then Theater again? I hope they can learn they can do that without being rude again.

I experienced 2 toxic moths in the recent weeks. One of them was about to do the fire trial but when I went to join them so we could help each other out they got up and left before we were telephoned to the trial over and over. The other mean moth was afk in SPAWN (stupidest thing to do of you don't want to be disturbed) and I started playing music nearby to serenade them and I thought I was doing them a favor. Then all of a sudden, they got up and started spamming the honk button and opened a chat table and told me "pls stfu.... me and my bf are trying to sleep 👹" LIKE WTF ARE YOU DOINH AFK IN SPAWN THEN EBJDHOVVDVIHS I was trying to be nice

I have 0 tolerance to such behaviour, i dont care if its a kid, if they wont learn from their parents or guardian then someone should teach em a lesson.

Sky is so unique than any other Games I played . I meet so many nice players and friends They were all polite I hate the fact that toxic and rude players are discovering this nice game as it grows

I've met some players where they just interupt my practice and tries to annoy me by spamming notes, what i do is i just keep practicing until they leave

I would also like to share my story here about a rude person I met in sky. I've been playing for over a year and it's really rare to find mean people! Today my friend and I went to the Wasteland Lobby. We lit a person who looked like a moth. We later saw that it was actually a veteran in a moth cosplay sitting on the big bridge, talking with another person. It was a little shock but it was also a bit funny so we did the same. We dressed up as Moth. But I kept my fox from The Little Prince Season on. We lit the veteran's friend who was also a veteran. We acted like Moffs, did the confetti emote, laugh and clap emote. 😁The first person from before just flew away, and came back with the Original Owl Hair. It felt like showing off but we thought nothing of it. Both of them offered us candles and they befriended us. We were surprised and gladly accepted the candles 😊 But right after we accepted the candles, the person's friend immediately blocked us and sat down again. We both only saw him as an unlit person with no symbol above his head. That hurt pretty bad. He could have just walked away with the friend if we were bothering too much..or gave a clear signal via emote... but sacrificing an extra candle to be able to block us felt very rude and mean. i felt so sad. I put my favorite outfit back on and sat further away with my friend. After that I didn't want to do anything anymore.😔

From all game i play from PC to device n meet many of people n also the toxic one. Idk why but toxic in sky cotl is different, i feel hurt so bad that the hurt was never heal

Actually, i have a “friend” like this on sky (we don’t have chat lmaoao) and they’re named “Yo stfu” on my constellation, mainly because they kept honking at me when i was playing (that was when i first met them) Anyways, me and my (actual) friend were hanging out and practicing music, and i decided to play on my own (we were in home) and my “friend” was ALSO there and she walked up to us and kept interrupting both of us. When I finally could play because it was quiet, she started to interrupt AGAIN and put her harp away when j continued playing, looking at me like i was crazy. Then she started honking at me again. Like, wtf? You bothered us in the first place, we don’t even have chat?????

Once I was trying to practice playing at the stage and this random guy kept closing the stage and spamming keys, i moved to the back of the stage area and they followed me wherever i moved, we both were using piano so it was chaotic annoying and loud but after awhile of just playing my songs normally and ignoring them they left, but before leaving they clapped and cheered at what I was playing (practicing Sebonzakura) and i was just so confused 😅

Had a similar encounter, someone tried lighting me and I kindly decline but tehy kept sitting genre with their candle Rinse repeat over and over and they don't leave so that walk away They have the audacity to keep following me with their candle still out, i lit a bench and ended up lighting them in the process, appleplayer jester hat with a red cape I told them to please leave me alone and what they were doing wasn't cool But they instead got up as I got up and did the home follow (when someone is walking away and you want to follow you press a small button and you'llbe permanently following them, you'll see a small arrow) I tried losing them but I couldn't and i was in the middle of a candle run so I didn't wnat to go back home They gota friend and kept following me everywhere till there was a server split

I encountered some of them too I was playing Ghibli kinds of music peacefully then suddenly he always use cry emotes and he keep playing piano ruining my music :

This one person came to a place and started spamming piano to try and get us away when my sister was playing music on the lyre, then they sat on a bench and i sat with them, and they said smthn along the lines: "Get away from here we wanna be alone".

Idk how to comment on this because I don't have right words to express 🤦‍♀️

I have so many encounters already of mean/annoying players in sky and there was also one that did this. I was just on the Eden tower practicing minding my own business then boom someone went to instrument spam me :/ They even giggled after doing that. I could talk about my other instances of meeting mean players but they all have their own short essays and could make this player that annoyed me look harmless compared to them. In short: wherever you go there will really be some mean people that will ruin your day.

Had someone completely flip out at me because I placed a campfire in front of their marshmallow stand. I was trying to make it fun and they told me to “stop showing off” lmao

You know what’s funny I just encountered someone just like this today. Told someone to leave and that they play horribly, wanted to play their song ONLY in a public area which is like… ok? Absolutely rude to everyone on top of that. Awful behavior honestly, I’m sorry you went through this.

I've been in multiple cases of these similar things, but I choose to ignore them instead and not say or show that you are disturbed by them, they often decided to leave me alone after a short while. Just ignore 'em, eventually they'll get tired of their own actions and in that moment you'll get your satisfaction, it's kind of funny to watch too 😂

I've never come across a single rude player but if I do, I'll just LEAVE!

I play in places where not many ppl will go and ill sometimes get ppl like this try to disturb me, jokes on them I changed my instrument settings so this doesn't bother me. 😂 Had an interaction like this there a month ago, where while I was playing they came over and spammed till I was finished and then they played Normally so they simply did this just to be a guitar hog, but when I did it back they threw a fit 😂

I am so sorry this happened. I dress like this a lot so I was worried for a moment, but I dont say such rude things. I'm normally just role-playing with my friends, and when people play music with it I find that it makes it more like a real play. Looking at this video and the comments, I can't tell if I've run into more mean players than I've realized or if I'm looking too much into it. I'd go to the music shop to play around with the instruments I don't have and people would play near me. Some were obviously just trying to practice, but some would go so fast on the notes that it made my eyes spin. Now I can't tell if those players were being mean or if they were just super excited to get their hands on the instrument and let their excitement get the best of them.

In my almost 2 years of playing, not once have I ever encountered someone like this. It baffles me tbh

This happend to me today too in grandma. The chibi just spamed piano notes while i was playing smtg. I turned of music sound and continued to practice out of spite. I dont think someone like that can ever be happy playing sky if thats how they are.

That's why i always go in a very very very hidden area to practice, to avoid this kind of people

Bro this happened to me TODAY AT MORNING when i was peacefully sitting at homespot someone just tried to lit me but i kindly were saying that "my friend list is full srry" then they just started being angry at me then used the "greeting shamman" and aggressively walked away.

it reminded me of when i was practicing music in the desert and a hacker came over to play music along and show off his hacks, he tried to look cool and didn't seem to know he was bothering him but it was annoying when i started playing and he played along lol

Ahhh I really hate it when someone starts to interfere with my music. I know that sometimes servers overlap and two people playing instruments end up on the same server, but sometimes someone starts playing even when he knows that someone is already playing in this place. i hope thc make the room like space from the season of the little prince (which can only be entered through a cape) but with an echo where no one can enter except you or your friends with you😭

It’s funny cause today me and my friend met someone even WORSE than this. STORY: So my friend found this table and sat on it cause there was one single person sitting and he thought “maybe I’ll talk to them” and we were in a ps4 party, I was not too far from them. As my friend said hello, this person immediately said “buy me the white cape and I’ll trade you 300 hearts” and my friend was just “…what?” And they kept on trying to convince my friend into doing the deal and exchanging PayPal info. As I got there, I sat down to read what they were typing, me and my friend were just saying “you know you’re putting kids in danger, right?” And the whole conversation went like this: Friend: “Yknow instead of scamming people on a peaceful game like this, why didn’t ya ask Santa to get it for you?” Scammer: “you think I’m a kid? Who believes in that” Friend: “my mom does :]” Me: (playfully) “Who DOESNT believe in Santa?!” Scammer: (to my friend) “Yeah and that’s why your momma dead” And basically it escalated to the scammer saying stuff like drugs/insults and much more, we ended up reporting them but I have never seen such a toxic person in a game like this.

I met someone like this and when I told them I was recording they immediately started running so I chased them and when I was back in a public space they begged me like "I DIDN'T MEAN IT!!!!!"

As a person who's hobby is playing multiplayer games with other especially on roblox, this is so common but i already know how to handle this kind of situation because it always happens all the time that i also can accurately guess what there gonna say and reply. There such a disappointment 🗿

This usually sends you to a different server. Sometimes this causes a bug that allows you to play offline too, which is great for playing instruments. All the best to you angel ❤️

I met this person at Prairie today, and have reported them. Their behaviour is exactly the same as what has been shown in this video, and fortunately I'm one of the nice veterans :)

I had someone take out a chat table at valley temple after doing a bunch of heart emotes just to tell me “go away, we are making a video” pfff 😭
