I've been waiting for this one to show up on YT for a while now. Matt's new book is great, as are all of his books. Hate Inc is especially prescient tho'. I think it's his best book since Griftopia.

the internal political processes of american democracy have been destabilized and undermined by the united states government as official policy for a half century now. look up the trilateral commission and their report "the crisis of democracy". the difference of course is that russia interferes with us as a means of carving out a geopolitical niche which would be impossible with the oversight of american imperium, while the american government does it to create a more docile and obedient populace.

I love the Chapo guys... and their take on the Russiagate thing has been pretty decent for not caring about it.... but Matt Taibbi is sooooooo freaking off that it does make me wonder about his intentions. Greed I hope. Digital marketing isn't in his wheelhouse and understanding how a brand-new-crap-blog got over a million visits per article goes right over his head. I've still got a list of them I point out on the Wayback Machine when people doubt it.

@@gooadam The problem is that there isn't any facts or evidence proving Russiagate, there are only assertions made and a bunch of procedural crimes that got charges. Just look at the Mueller report, it not only said that there wasn't enough evidence o charge anyone in Rump's campaign regarding "collusion," it said that there was simply no evidence at all - PERIOD!

That's not what I'm referring to, and it's why Matt's opinion is so ignorant for simply looking at the plausibility of one angle and then touting himself as a skeptic/expert on the matter.
