@@BagelMedia btw. I had a 1992 red hatchback as my first car, in 1999. I miss that car and wish I had held onto it. It was a red hatchback. I now drive a 2022 bmw M car, for reference, and have had probably 15 cars in my life. I miss my 240. Do not sell it too quickly. I’m super impressed that a guy your age even knows about the 240sx, much less wanted one. There is hope for the future 😂 PS I remember my car had a particularly fun quirk: if you turn the headlights on slowly, as in hold the tension as long as possible between the parking lights and headlights settings, the headlights would turn on one at a time. If you find the right spot in the dial and hold tension there, you can flick back and forth between having two lights on or just one. So what I am saying is, you can use your headlights to wink at oncoming traffic. Not sure if it was just my particular car or if all 240s would do this

Please take care of this car. These cars have become so rare and sought after. Coming from an S Chassis owner myself. So many kids end up drifting these things into walls and the prices continue to soar. Have your fun but be responsible!

The other front end with the non pop up headlights is called the silvia front end because it's from the japan model s13 silvia that we did not get in the states it's only called a sil80 when you put the headlights on a hatchback (240sx or 180sx)

I personally prefer the boxy look of the coupe, but a real s14 Kouki hardtop lowered with a nice body kit and very little camber.. I’m in love! lol 👍🏼😬🙃

The “sil80” front end is just called the silvia front end coz it was only available on the s13 coupe (silvia) tho it’s a popular swap to the 180 which is where it gets the sil80 name

There are very rare “factory” sil80, they have the quarter glass window with the sil80 logo instead of 180sx, unicorn rare haha they were manufactured by a tuner group at 500 examples or something, I think they modified factory cars

@@BagelMedia Oh yeah they are fine but the Nismo gt500 is better I think, feels better and comes in titanium. Hey I seen your battery is not tied down, make sure you do that you don't want it moving around, or relocate it to the trunk, makes it handle better too.

i have a s13 sr20det for 12 years now and only twice was i left stranded,both were my fault,once was after sucking some water into maf which happened because holes for routing intercooler were too big and the other was going up curb and intercooler got snagged on the curb ripping the couplers,this was because i didnt mount intercooler. anyone who says their s13 is a pile of junk is because they created the junk. if your a hack and do half ass work especially with wiring of course your gonna be left stranded.mines been far more reliable then our prius and even my sisters 2018 jeep.
