Hey Everyone,
This week we are finally going over the cause of the battery drain. We spent quite a while delving into this and eventually decided to have the car scanned for clues. This ended up being a fantastic idea and led us directly to the issue. Turns out, however, it was something completely unexpected!

I'm only 1 minute into the video and noticed the AIR BAG light. I have one on for mine too, and noticed under the passenger seat, if the seat is in the wrong spot it rubs on the resistor. I keep the passenger bottom, about 75% of the way back and there is no light.

Can't believe it. I did read up about that causing a drain but didn't think it would be linked to that fuse. Glad you got it sorted. Doubt you'll use that navigation anyway. I'm sure the new head unit does everything you need.

I definitely will cover it in a video. I wanna get one that not only works for the cars I currently have but would work on whatever future builds we do... So I've got some research to do!

I love them! Honestly they are almost the perfect size and I wouldn't want them any wider or narrower! I'll definitely get more for future projects!

Maybe you can dismantle that navigation and look at the motherboard to see what causes the short. It can be a leaked capacitor or something burnt component, you can't mess it up more so what can you lose 😀

Glad you fixed it mate! I still recommend ROSS tech PURELY for the reason it’s free minus the cable (I paid for the extra features but you don’t HAVE to) and that you can log precise values for every single block of data the ecu logs. It’s extremely useful not only for diagnosing electrical problems but for getting error codes that may not nessicarily pop with an CEL. My car has gone into limp mode with no cel before! Best of luck in the future hunter. Glad to see the s4 coming along! EDIT: DONT SPEND TONS OF MONEY ON A SCAN TOOL!!!! (Unless you want to have multiple functionality like say you want a c6.) a ROSS TECH EMULATES DEALER SCAN TECH!!!! Ross tech isn’t nessicary cheap but it WILL pay for itself.

Man I hope so haha. I guess it depends on what soon means. My limit right now is a place to do the turbo swap.

@@HunterDirection should consider doing a single turbo swap, simplifies car…one less of everything and not a lot of people doing videos on them so would be cool to see!
